Youllneverwinaway 0
Anyone a member or have contacts in there. Just wondering why we have restricted all our flag displays to European nights(as in full stand displays) The Saltires and Union Flags display was absolutely amazing and Im thinking it would be excellent to do similar in a certain up and coming game. Frankie 505
Basically, since the stadium wide card displays are funded by the fans, it's always best to pick a big game to maximise the interest from the majority. These displays cost several thousands pounds so people are unlikely to pay for it to be done out with a big Euro night unfortunately.

Thanks for the response. didnt know how it all worked and how it was funded. Having said that, im sure there would be many a willing donor if we were going to see an excellent display on the 27th December. Perhaps you could speak to the comittee or however it is run. Jasper 160
Would be an idea to do it against the tims as a) gives them a showing up as their displays are nothing short of embarrassing and b) we dont have any european games this season so having at least one display this season would be great. Bluedell 14
One problem with having one on the 27th would be when would the display be laid out? People will generally be busy with Christmas issues for the few days before and there may also be issues with access to the stadium.

Not sure of the practicalities of it, just think it would be a great idea as they try to do stuff which ends up looking like a hoors flaps, so thought it would be good to show them how the professional teams do it

Frankie 505
Unfortunately, as mentioned, the cost of these displays is several grand. I sincerely doubt the funds could be organised this time due to the financial downturn and people's Xmas commitments - not to mention some fans indicated they were fed up with card displays the last time one was organised. Don't worry though TBO (as with all the other sections I'm sure) will have alternative activities in place for the game.
