***AC Milan v Fiorentina thread***

Kaka was spotted “in tears” at the Milanello training ground and could break down during tonight’s fan protests against Fiorentina.

According to several newspapers, including the Corriere dello Sport, the target of a £108m Manchester City bid was weeping as he left the locker room.

Tonight could well be his final match in a Rossoneri jersey and it may get emotional, as fans are planning a huge demonstration of love for the player at San Siro.

They hope to convince him – and the club – to turn down a record-shattering transfer fee of £108m plus another £108m in wages and £27m in fees.

The Corriere dello Sport also claims that City have accepted a clause in Kaka’s contract allowing him to walk away for £60m if any of the contract terms are breached.

Wages were boosted as recompense for not playing in the Champions League next season, so he would be earning around £16m per season.

Meanwhile, The Sun newspaper has dug up an old interview in which Kaka expresses less than flattering opinions about Manchester City.

“Arsenal and Manchester United are different from the other English teams. They play a bit more and are more open.

"They are different from the typical English teams who have a tall striker and hold on to the ball.

“That’s more typical of Liverpool and Chelsea, who are very tactical sides — more English. Man United and Arsenal are more agile. They let other teams play and they play, too.”

Looks like this may well be Ricardo Kaka's last game in Rossoneri colours.

Don't expect many changes from the side that earned a 2-2 draw in Rome while Fiorentina will look to bounce back after a disappointing 2-1 home defeat at the hands of Lecce.

Predictions?

I'm going with AC Milan 3-2 Fiorentina with Kaka to score in his last game and Gilardino to bag a brace against his old team.

Milan: Abbiati; Zambrotta, Maldini, Favalli, Jankulovski; Beckham, Pirlo, Ambrosini; Kaka, Seedorf; Pato

Fiorentina: Storari; Comotto, Gamberini, Kroldrup, Vargas; Kuzmanovic, Felipe Melo, Montolivo; Santana; Jovetic, Gilardino

Kaka and David Beckham are in the starting XI as Milan take on Fiorentina under attack from their fans this evening.

The supporters in the Curva Sud are planning a protest against the proposed £108m sale to Manchester City.

They have said they want to “spark Kaka's feelings and move him” with their chants, songs and banners at San Siro.

Around a thousand tifosi were waiting at the stadium for the team bus to arrive and chanted 'Kaka cannot be sold.'

In the arena the banners are already out in force, with some reading 'The heart is priceless', but others were turning on the player.

A banner made fun of his T-Shirt that says 'I Belong to Jesus' by stating 'I Belong to Money: 22 Kaka', while another mirrored Milan's statements: 'We are pondering the offer.'

Kaka is in the starting XI along with Beckham, Clarence Seedorf and Alexandre Pato, but Ronaldinho is dropped to the bench.

As he ran out on to the field for a warm-up, Kaka saluted the supporters and seemed happy and relaxed.

Giuseppe Favalli is once again in central defence with Paolo Maldini, as Kakha Kaladze and Alessandro Nesta are injured.

Fiorentina are without Adrian Mutu and Sebastien Frey, so former Milan men Marco Storari and Alberto Gilardino step in to San Siro with Stevan Jovetic getting a rare chance to shine.

We'll have half-time and full reports from Milan-Fiorentina along with extensive post-match comments.

Terrific refereeing there from Rosseti!

He originally gave Fiorentina a penalty but overturned his decision after his linesman ruloed that Abbiati got the ball(which upon seeing the replay he actually got both hands to the ball doh )

And on fire Alexandre Pato gives Milan the lead! Terrific pass from Pirlo and Pato fires it across the keeper, off the post and in! 1-0 Milan!

yyyyyyyyyassssssssssss now Sevilla

Kaka looks offski

Looks like it Bkay (tu)

just shows you that money talks

he will never achieve anything at Man City

paying that kinda money he will be looking at a 6 year (minimum) contract

no other club in the world will be able to afford to buy him and he will forever be sitting wasting away at a middle of the table premiership club

Robinho at least is still "affordable", so when he realised Man City are a sinking ship at least someone will buy him
