Has been a Free agent since he was released by Fenerbache back in August and is currently on trial at Spurs. Why havent we looked at this guy? anytime i've ever seen the guy play he has been top class....

I mean we paid the best part of £9m (money we now kno we didn't really have) bringing in Mendes, Edu and Davis when we could have bought say Mendes and Davis and got Appiah on a free.

There was a comment a while back relating to Spurs saying he was looking for 80k per week

The deal they are proposing is 50k pw till the summer then up to 80k if they take up the option to keep him

Thats why the mhanks didn't get him. Be thankful for that at least.

As for Appiah, good player - but injury prone, fcuked knee and wages would be high. Plus he's got a bit of an attitude problem.
