Ryan Hardie The Day

Recommended Posts

Hardie was excellent today off the ball he chased everything. Won in air and always had defence on their toes. On the ball great touch held ball up well. Great finish for second and great effort to keep going for 1st. Deserved the standing ovation

Brilliant debut, I was desperate for him to get a hat-trick; would have been no less than deserved!

Wish that attempt where he tried a wee nine iron over the keeper had gone in.

As others have said very aware, pacey, lots of technical ability needs to get to the gym and bulk up a wee bit.

I dont agree about players having to bulk up to be goodThe greatest players ever have been small and overcomebigger opponents by being far better footballers .Michael Owen in his day was no jolly green giant.

You are conflating body mass with upper body strength. Hardie is 6ft and will be a more complete player with a wee bit of upper body strength.

Hardie start every game - yes please.

Boyd on the bench - TWF, waste of a place.

The other youths - yes please -effort and a will to show they are worth a place. So far removed from the efforts of players such as Law.

He's the reason Boyd should never feature for us again.
