Celtic Are A Top Team

Sorry but this needs to be posted

IMO, we could be just a top left-back away from being a really good side.

We have one of the top keepers in Europe (if not the world) in Artur Boruc.

We have an international CB pairing in Caldwell & McManus, who have been looking very strong recently. And we have O'Dea and Loovens as back up.

We have Paul Caddis, who has the potential to be a great RB.

Today we had Brown and Crosas in the middle, whose partnership was not unlike the Gattuso/Pirlo combo at AC Milan. We have Hartley and Robson who can step in.

We have Naka, McGeady, Maloney and (potentially) Paddy McCourt who can unlock defences with their ability.

We have Sammy, McDonald and Hesselink who all offer something different up front, and all offer goals.

The way they have played in some of the games this year has been among the best performances of the Strachan era. We are used to seeing some dire performances away in the SPL, but we have seen some great games already.

How close are we to becoming a top team?

They beat Hamilton at home and now they somehow are quality.

Is Celtic Top Team?

I remember very well as Celtic played against Shahtar (Ukraine) last year. Celtic is the very middle team of Europe . A miracle only helped Celtic to extract win in Glasgow. When Celtic played Donetsk then Celtic was similar a cowardly and clumsy lad.

Celtic is good but middle level, not top.

Ukranian hits the nail on the head here, and he's looking from the outside in.

Dead right Ukranian. Celtic fans live in fantasy land.

Their defence is one of the worst in the SPL. They have let in more goals than St Mirren, who lie bottom. Fact.

They might be able to score goals but they are leaking goals like fuck. Fact.

We have the best defense record in the SPL just now. Fact.

Loovens is fuckin' rubbish as well. Glad we didn't sign him now.

Accies gifted them 4 goals due to attrocious defending.

We played shit until the 70th minute then started to play a little.

At times, we just walked through their defence - its that woeful.

Worrying too, as that defence is likely to be the Scotland defence in time.
