Sounds like a challenge that i need to beat. There was also Kevin Drinkell who paid every month like a good boy and it was only me who was old enough to remember him. TBF, there is only so much you can say these days about a crazy cult church and not get into trouble and Marvin's guys were demented. Anyway Dessers, can we make a profit from him and get a replacement to beat his numbers. I don't feel confident at all.

It's been the 90s since i considered a player a legend, not sure if it's because the quality is dropping or me getting older and more cynical. Talking of Marvin, i kicked him out his house in my last job, never got to speak to him personally as his church dealt with everything.

We want a striker that scores the most amount of goals. 10 attempts and 2 goals is better than 2 attempts and 1 goal.

Is that a Yes then?

The way i see it is that would we prefer a striker who creates 10 and scores 2 or one who creates 2 and scores 1?

He terrified Taylor, so would be disappointed if out for the season.

Get rid and replace with some unknown player who may cost a fortune and take weeks or months to get up to speed. I don't think we can afford another crappy start to the season. Lack of goals and quality elsewhere is a much bigger concern than Dessers.

As the second richest team in the country, finishing second is expected if we do not win this year and get Champions League money.

My worry is this time next year we are moaning that we have sold Dessers at a loss and our new expensive clinical striker has less goals than he did.

He might be frustrating but his record is good. Last thing we want is to replace him with a striker who misses less sitters but also scores less goals because he is anonymous when team mates have an off day.

A complete overhaul isn't possible unless we win the league and/or get CL money. We could get lucky and do it on the cheap, but not confident in that.

It would be easy to blame Clement, but I'm sick of the sight of most of the players. Anyone confident about the SC game either?

Unlike some im not at the stage of throwing in the towel, but that was just a less entertaining continuation of Sunday. Think I would feel more confident watching Dessers sky it than the nothingness of that first half.

Am I tripping, but as much as Dessers frustrates it feels like those same sitters aren't there when he doesn't play.

I always expected a slip up before the end of the season, but this early means nothing but perfection is necessary now. Saying that, im not defeated just yet, can easily see them dropping points as well but it depends how Wednesday goes. Every player frustrated today, so not even sure who I would want the manager to pick at the moment.

Easily replaced as a RB and captain, but will increase the quality of forward player(s) needed to replace the goals, particularly penalties and free kicks.

I would also keep Tav as replacing his goals makes things even more difficult. Not as captain though. It's who we can sell for decent money that is a worry, Lammers is doing well but even he looks like he will be sold at a loss. The players who could generate decent money are also the ones on this thread that people want to keep.
