  1. Hard to be excited. I was beginning to after Danilo starting and scoring early, then he had his face caved in😭 The boredom is starting to irritate me as well.
  2. Glad after the crap from the pricks in the crowd, but Scotland aren't supposed to compete with England anyway. Bellingham was brilliant & that team is riddled with talent, surely England could do better than Southgate?
  3. It is, but was an extreme example to highlight that Beale may be around longer than we want purely because his potential replacement is unaffordable or not willing to take over right now.
  4. Can't say I'm not disappointed, but it's possible that the board have no replacement who can come in now that won't cause the rage that a Martindale/McInnes/McKay would induce.
  5. Don't think Potter is affordable, he's loaded but still not confident he takes a sufficient enough pay cut. What happens if he is pish, would we be stuck with him as it would he too costly to sack him. Muscat seems more realistic, but I worry it will be someone like a McInnes in the short term instead.
  6. Personally, I want him gone but still don't see a realistic replacement or have a huge amount of faith in many of the players either.
  7. At this stage it would need to be someone affordable, willing to accept Beale's squad until at least next year and/or confident they could do something with those signings. I don't think that is a big list.
  8. I think the disruption would do more damage than good & a McInnes or Martindale appointment is more realistic than a Potter or a Muscat one.
  9. It's still too early imo, especially when I can't think of an obvious replacement.
  10. Easily the best defender at the club and we aren't buying anyone else in the next few days.
  11. I get that some may have been getting excited when it was 2-0 so early and the second half could have been better, but overall I'm happy with that. Still not seeing it with Sima, but Matondo is improving and offers something different as well.
  12. This is mental, hurt my throat when that went in. It does he is likely to come back on for the second half though.
  13. Every game recently has either been boring or nervy, if not both at the same time.
  14. I will admit I am not always up to date on the rules, but Im not convinced there is contact on the first one and on the second I don't think the shirt pull is stopping a goal scoring opportunity. Saying that, it's probably best if any shirt pull in the box is punishes as it eliminates the open to interpretation nonsense and people will eventually stop doing it.
  15. He is "seeing the right signs" apparently. I must need to get my prescription updated as I'm personally not seeing it.
  16. Partly bumping this up as the first page is predominantly about the underperformers, but I'm liking what I see so far. He also seems a nice respectful guy in interviews.
  17. Wasn't expecting to read about arses being fingered when I started this, but hey ho. Definetly a no from me, even with all the good memories. Other than Aribo and Bassey I can't think of any players I would have back.
  18. As much as I don't like the guy, I do agree with Tom English that things looked much better when there was more width.
  19. If we need cheap goals to win against relegation level championship teams then winning is papering over the cracks. PR wise this is a great result.
  20. 100%, even if i ignored how great he was, it still wasn’t his fault. I also have zero faith he wouldn’t be framed as the villain though.
  21. I agree, but things in this country get spun to suit a narrative. This likely gets “validated” by international condemnation. Malik didn’t know, but would have still been portrayed as the bad guy.
