There needs to be some realistic expectations about who would be available and also willing to take the job. As we may have sacked 2 managers in less than a year, anyone taking the job will also want a good long term contract in the event we need to let them go as well.

It's not ideal to sack someone when they are winning. Especially if we have no long term replacement, which is very likely. I get the argument about being proactive rather than reactive, but if its rushed and things go south and we hit 2024 with no league cup or European football and are further behind in the league it will look like a collosal fuck up.

This is my feelings, it's very Groundhog Day. The financials worry me as well. Getting rid of Gio and compensating QPR, now the potential Beale pay off after all his spending.

Sacking him in the morning after another win would be difficult, it could also be off putting for any potential new manager to see this done. Dropping more points and exiting cups unfortunately feels inevitable with this squad, and I don't believe a new manager has enough time or the luxury of their own players to turn things around. Would still like to see someone in before the end of the year though.

I'm sick of Beale, but have just as little confidence in the players as well right now. On paper it's not the worst, and l imagine the board are looking at things in a similar wast. Having just watched his post match interview, the 24 hour Livingston advantage annoyed me more than it should.

Played the trial for a few hours and reasonably enjoyable other than a few glitchy physics moments. Ibrox looks fantastic, but the Tav and Barasic models are still terrible.
