In general Phil has done wonders yes but that’s twice now he’s picked the wrong team in an old firm game, there isn’t a huge number of options but even a half fit Sima or Matondo are a better option than Wright, Cantwell should be ahead of Lawrence, left backs a more difficult one.

Nah it’s the team. It was clear to see Sterling at LB was an issue and that front three is diabolical. The last game against the tarriers everyone went into it confident but as soon as the team was announced my hope dropped as well. Injury is the main reason but Phil has also fucked it.

Don’t want to be defeatist here but that team has given me some fear. Sterling at left back hasn’t worked yet, obviously a better shout than present day Borna but not ideal, I’d have like Sterling in the middle he would be jdeal to win that midfield battle. The front three also give me a major worry, Scott Wright could play for 9000 minutes and never hurt a tarrier defence I’m sick of the sight of him in a Rangers jersey, the day he leaves will be a day of celebration. Also not fully convinced Silva’s the right call on that left hand side. Here’s hoping these players and the team make me eat my words.

It’s clear now why Clemente didn’t make any subs a bit earlier. Cant be too critical of the manager or the team with the injury problems and the quality of the opposition. Only critical point is what Ally said about lack of defensive cover with our corners.
