Yeh I would agree with that especially going as a free with no transfer fee. I used to work with a lad who’s brother was at Bristol City, he told me the highest earner there was on £32k a week and that was a couple of years ago. I’d imagine they’re pretty far off the highest paying championship clubs so if Goldson went to a lower prem/ higher championship club down here 40-50k would be very realistic.

Was just going to post almost exactly this. Hes an upgrade on the likes of Barker and Jones, although that’s not exactly an achievement. Can’t imagine he’s on big money so probably worth keeping as a back up. We desperately need a proper right midfielder in the summer though. Been playing players there out of position since Candeias left, the likes of Aribo and Hagi and yesterday Ramsey before his injury, all of which are better centrally.

These players get a huge amount of criticism at times, but fuck me to play 120 mins twice in 3 days and win them both, especially after being 1-0 down today is a colossal achievement. Well fucking done to every player out there today!
