seemed like anyone on the forum yesterday who spoke out about these players only showing up when the competition (league) was effectively over or being against that mob without 3/4 of their main defenders or striker was some sort of doom merchant or tarrier. To be honest, I seen it coming like the 2-0 game in 2019 when they had won the league and we got a win in the sun to celebrate something. Already looking to the first OF of next season to lay down a marker at home and see if these players have the minerals but I’m not reading too much into it yet. The good thing is that it has the potential to be a big win psychologically, only if they can now back it up.

More of a psychological win really if we beat them, I’d hope we’re only starting with about 4 of these players next season if we’ve to have any chance. Feels a bit like the Tav 2-0 game in the sun (2019) they had already won the league and we get a home OF win to celebrate without any bragging rights but with this current squad I’m not sure Saturday is going to go as well.
