  1. Isnt that just a tad over the top after one guy makes a comment? It isnt a 'mindset' it was one guy moaning FFS or replying to your moaning. Either way, I'm sure you'll find that it isnt snobbery, its simply guys that pay lots and lots of money week in week out to watch their team. ST holders are the folk that pump cash into the club year after year, and go to all the pishy wee games, ordinary punters wont get out their bed for. I'm a ST holder of around 17 years, and been going to Ibrox much, much longer - most of the guys around me have been doing so for the same timescale, and were completely gutted tonight. So cut some slack on the ST snobbery pish. As we said to the lad, if we weren't skint students who need to work five nights a week and weekends to live then we would be there every week. It's costing me over a quarter of my monthly wage just for the three game package, and I've already spent almost £80 on two other homes games this year. That's £200 for five matches, so please, don't question my commitment. The guy was out of order, season ticket or not. I have always found this sort of attitude! I was sat at the Govan rear tonight and as soon as you made an attempt to start a sing song the season ticket snobs are right up and at you to sit down! FFS war on ST holders eh? Its their fault the atmospheres shite, they are all snobs, they dont sing, they dont support the team, they moan.... Oh and they go to every fcuking game, week in week out ! What about the glory hunters that only appear for European & OF games, but cant be arsed going to any other games - then when they turn up, they become some sort of uber fans and moan the place down. How many on here moaning fall into that category? Havent we enough to be worried about without this petty jealousy of ST holders? Obviously you folk moaning dont go to many games... That's what I'm talking about. No-one's fucking jealous of you sunshine, but it doesn't make me any less of a fan that I can't afford to turn up as much as you with my £400 a month job! Does having a grump at being 4-0 down warrant the tag of 'moaning the place down'? Gimme peace. If you cant handle replies and objective criticism, then dont start childish, toys out the pram, threads. Next time, save up all yer pennies, and go to a game against the likes of St Johnstone or Killie, or even better some of the Tuesday night SC games. I'm sure your support would be more appreciated then. Oh and its much cheaper, so no excuses eh? or can you only afford CL games? Now gies peace with all the ST snobbery pish!
  2. Dissapeared after 30 mins, was blowing out his arse the same as last Saturday against the sheep - a shadow of what he was like before his injury. If it wasnt for Whittaker, he'd have been one of the worst in the team. Certainly in the bottom 3 IMO.

No one was questioning your commitment mate, just try and be a bit more objective with your comments. How does £36,000 over a 17 year period sound regarding a financial comittment? and I aint nearly rich !!

  6. Were you there? crap atmoshphere IMO with lots of empty seats which didnt help. Second half was dead, and many, many fans leaving just before 70 mins. Small card display in the CR, just at the start.
  7. I think Whittaker is by far the worst in the team - weak link. Torn apart at the weekend by the sheep, and tonight he was culpable for at least 2 goals, perhaps another, I'd need to watch it again on TV. Not the boys fault, he's just way out his depth and certainly not anywhere near good enough for that position or the jersey. Both Thompson & McCulloch looked tired - again. Thompson in particular seems to be blowing out his arse badly after 30 mins. Papac also had a few howlers. Sad state of affairs when the CH is the best attacking option. To be fair, this wasnt a 4.1 game - basic schoolboy defending errors mostly by Whittaker, makes it look worse on paper. I also thought at 1.0 Smith should have gone for it - but no, he MUST wait until 70 minutes. I just hope we can sort things out in the defence before Sunday.
  8. Seen Broadfoot outside the main door today - looked thin & ill IMO.
  9. Rothen was ok, McGregor had a couple of good saves, Thompson & McCulloch were both blowing out their arses after 30mins and vanished. Miller did his usual, Naismith lost the ball too much Boogie was the biggest threat going forward, although lost the ball too easily. Novo tried, but never really got started. Weir is starting to look his age, Whittaker got turned inside out a few times by the sheeps winger. And the rest didnt really feature in the game. Overall as a team, very, very poor performance agaisnt one of the worst sheep teams I've ever seen. No pride, skill or passion. Is it panic stations? Dunno, its early doors in the season, but if next week we carry the same level of performance into the scum game, then we could be 7 points adrift, with little options to freshen up the team. Fcuk knows where the goals are coming from now that Boyd seems to have dried up.
  10. The chairman is in no feckin doubt about how bad things are and the fans feelings, because I made sure he heard me today.... We are shite, have no cash, no pride and no fecking effort !!
  11. PS; T****, Fenians, Tarriers, Mhankies, Soapdodgers ! Call em what you want, I hate em all !!
  12. Exactly ! t**g = enemy and don't forget it !
  13. He really is a dotard - treated like the token proddy on Snyde. Embarrassment..
  14. Hes lost £30M? £100M, I take it you read and believe the Sun & Daily Retard? Do you also subscribe to 'shop a fan' hotline? and spies sitting with away fans? You underestimate his hatred of you ! Delusional Murrayite !
  15. Mediocre teams don't win the SPL, reach the last 16 of the champions league and reach uefa cup finals. Maybe you are supporting a different Rangers from us. Maybe I am, maybe I support a Rangers team that defines excellence both on and off the park, not one that fails to bring in new blood in the off season, relies on a 39 year old defender, allows the very people who fund it to be shit on from all angles, who couldn't beat a team of taxi drivers in Europe last year and consistently for the past few years had to look at the T**** win the league whilst our biggest concern was what was sung in the stands. Maybe I support a Rangers team that stood for the values many should be living today, that we should strive to be the best, strive to put in the effort, strive to let others follow our example. Maybe you are happy with a squad that has dwindled so much so that even just a couple of injuries will see any assault on the league this year falter. We never really won the SPL last year, Celtic threw it away if you look at it honestly. There's no denying reaching the UEFA Cup Final was a great achievement, but we didn't exactly have a good ride there and when we did reach it we didn't even try to win it. SO maybe your perspective and mine are different. Maybe you have completely forgotten about a time when Celtic won 9 championships in a row, or a time when Aberdeen were a far better team than us. Oh, but hang on, we had out traditions then and could sing what we liked - that's what this is really about, isn't it? Because if you are arguing that the current Rangers team is worse than Greig's, you're talking crap. Maybe I was one of the many thousands who stuck it out in the Greig years and still went to Ibrox. So don't be lecturing me about how bad it was back then, I know. But at least the club wasn't treated like shite by all and sundry around it. This singing you talk of, you honestly think that is what my post is about. If so then you should read it again. It's about standards, not songs. We have no standards at Ibrox anymore. We had a captain last year that behaved like a ned in front of an international audience, we had a chairman more intent on ripping the foundations that took generations to build apart and franchise them out, we have allowed our name to be continually dragged through the mud without defence. I couldn't give a flying fuk if we are allowed to sing sectarian songs or not, but what I do give a fuk about is that the club will come to the defense of its fans and lifeblood when called upon. Are you telling me you are honestly happy with this year's squad? You are happy to see Celtic at least attempt to strengthen theirs whilst we rely on has-beens and people coming back from injury? Are you happy Murray Park has been a complete waste of time and money because we have a manager too afraid to play any of its products and has only now doing so because his hand has been forced? Are you happy walking into a JJB store and see a huge collection of Celtic gear on display yet only a small corner with a few Rangers tops in it yet we are the ones with the JJB Deal? Are you happy the first thing that greets foreign visitors to this land at Glasgow Airport is a Celtic Shop and not a Rangers shop? I could be here all night, but to you 9-in-a-row blurrs the vision as to whats really happened to Rangers. Great points Damien, however its wasted intellect on this thread! Your trying to convince a small, closed mind-set minority, about objectivity & common sense based on facts - Kinda like trying to convince a t**g about a fact based statistic.... Oh hold on a minute, there's a wee link here.....
  16. Weak link in the team IMO. Caught out of position lots, cant defend, and only occasionally gets up the park to support. Next game, watch Bougie covering that area - not good enough I'm afraid.
  17. Oh dear No you don't get away with that - report me if you think I'm not legit. By them I mean the 10% on here (look at the poll) who can't stand Murray because he doesn't share their "traditional views" haha touchy arent we? poor choice of phrasing from you then, and, goes along nicely with the thread I made last week. "Them" as you call them are as much a part of Rangers as anyone else, and, should be afforded the same respect, even if you disagree, or, are you along the lines of "anyone who doesnt like Murray isnt a true fan"? That was mentioned anywhere. You will probably find the vast majority didnt vote, for reasons stated previously! I didnt say you were a bheast, there are a couple in this thread and, I think everyone knows who they are Just because you didn't understand me doesn't make it a poor choice of phrasing. If "them" support the attitude of the OP, they deserve no respect at all - name a toilet after him? Whether or not you feel SDM was a good chairman there was no call for that. As for whether the vote represents the majority of fans - clearly it doesn't, but I didn't hear many boos when SDM raised the flag. I guess the OP was having a wee tongue in cheek moment, but what the thread illustrates, is how easily led some Gers fans are - the man is a liar and fraudster, he's led us all up the garden path for the past few years with tales of 'jam tomorrow', and at the same time sticking a knife in to the lifeblood of the support. He hates us, and cant wait to be away, unfortunately because of his fiscal management and brilliant business accumen, we are almost flat stoney broke, with all our assets either outsourced or languishing in bad contracts. Just remember your suport of him, when Davie Weir breaks down, and we cant afford a replacement FB. Aye a legacy indeed....
  18. Sorry mate, not a member of ££...try again ! There is one thing that this "debate" showed me, and, its that GCL uses the same "technique" everytime, which is, simply to ignore the majority of a post, focus on one little bit of it, and, class anything as assumptions, or, tell someone their stating opinion is actually them stating facts, and the like. Then again, from a seperate reply, perhaps this is just the case after some "shandies", who knows He wasn't expressing an opinion, he was attempting to pass off some cobbled together nonsense as fact, alluding that he knew better than everyone else, he has not posted much else when asked to expand so i will assume he has given up. You just repeat the same thing over and over and over, even when the flaws in your logic have been pointed out to you, is that meant to be "debate".....ridiculous that you are still whining about this a week later, sorry if i upset you....... My my you are a wee troubled soul arent you! ....do you have PMT? Did you always get your own way when you grew up (sorry growing up). I havent given up or gone away, I just dont spend all night on here... As the other poster says, you carefully select sections of posts that you think you can challenge, but actually just make a bigger tit of yourself, then for the rest of it that you cant find an answer for, 'its quoted from FF ! is your only defence. Try and come back with some facts mate, and stop being offended about other peoples opinions. Some of my information may be outdated, my be inaccurate, but it is nevertheless researched. What evidence have you offered to the debate? Exactly - fuck all...!
  19. Perhaps someone who didnt hate the support, and occasionally even stood up for us ! Good luck to the new guy, but I fear the custodian hasnt quite closed the door yet...
  20. Sorry mate, not a member of ££...try again !
  21. You seem to miss my point about the investment he made and the investment he attracted, you don't need to explain the books to me so you can skip that. Gee thanks, but I don't see you offering any information, therefore your assumption on investment is flawed because you, like every other Rangers fans doesn't know - end off. It's late so i won't go through everything but.....the former chairman has nothing to do with azure, his stake is long since sold. You have no evidence of the tendering process just guess work, which counts for nothing. Actually, if you read my reply, you will see that SDM's companies have been allocated ALL of the outsourcing work, I don't need to have evidence of the RFC tender process, because the fact that only ONE company get the work is sufficient evidence that a competitive contracting process doesn't exist - what I didn't go into was the fact that in years gone by, RFC admitted that they didn't tender this work! The evidence for that is not for a public post. Lastly, as far as Azure is concerned, if you do some research, I think you'll find SDM son is quite heavily involved !!! nuff said ! You have offered nothing here, just as i expected I think I've offered just a tad more than you can offer mate, what did you expect? You don't know me? Or are you always so right even when wrong? Or is it that you cant form an objective opinion? Now stop taking SDM's criticism so personal - take a deep breath and relax ! We all have opinions, its just yours is kinda flawed.....
  22. PS. If it wasn't for people like me, questioning how the club was being run and where SDM was taking it, then you and the other Murrayite's, would still be riding the magic moonbeam circus ! You've been conned - for gods sake wake up and smell the coffee !!
