  1. I love this pic - maybe its cos I also love the 'Irons'
  2. And of course IRA songs and flags are just hunky dory, all part of the Craic... Graham, we know you read this - u arent welcome at Ibrox anymore, and next time I see you (I'm the one that growls at you in the Main Stand and you're too scared to respond arent you..), then yer gonna get to really know just how much we hate you !!
  3. Thanks for quick reply - very clear pictures of faces eh? Question, how do I post a pic? (I'm a wee bit thick)
  4. My son was telling me that Strathclyde's finest had moved in and confiscated terorist flags from the plastic paddies on Staurday. Can anyone confirm this or substatiate it, preferrably with a pic?
  5. Can I just totally agree with this statement - through personal experience, hence I'd never go near FF anymore. Instant ban for anyone not towing the 'party' line....(ie Dingwalls) Not everyone can agree on everything regarding Rangers, it's a very emotive and important part of our lives. However Rangers Media, Vanguardbears and other Rangers websites, all have one thing in common, which FF will never allow and that's open debate. You don't tow the FF or RST line, then you get banned and smeared. How many of us have suffered this tactic? We discuss, we debate, we argue on all message boards and then move on without any hard feelings. When the RST became FF and vice versa, the Trust died a thousand deaths. Instead of being independently minded and forward thinking, it became insular, paranoid and vindictive. Smearing anyone who dared ask a question, bullying board members to such an extent resignations became the norm, telling porkies about anyone who dared have a differing opinion and so on. We've seen it on this thread from Cooper, after her square go rant. She blatanly lied about what actually took place and the subsequent alleged square go. She stated very clearly, someone from Vanguard was behind this intended violence. When in actual fact the person wanting to fight was a T*** who was getting a tad upset with Vanguard's articles and attacks on Celtic's fans. She knows this to be true and I can show you written evidence of the Bheast asking for the fight. Yet she openly on a Rangers forum sticks up for the violent Celtic fan, instead of the people she's supposed to represent - why did she do this? Are the RST now defending deranged t**** ahead of innocent Bears? It was very simple folks, Vanguardbears ask questions about the RST and they don't like it one little bit. They do what they do best when faced with facts and that's tell lies and smear. Rangers fans deserve a Trust we can trust, not profiteering liars and forgetful board members. I tend to think that most roads lead to Dingwall. Ever since he was banned from Ibrox, he sems to have become an embittered person, devoid of any rational thought. He sees himself as some form of 'Uber Prod Hero', that revels in his own self proclaimed importance, when in reality, he is mearly a legend in his own lunchbox.. Its likely, that members of the RST, see him as just that - Das Fuhrer. Does anyone know if he actually goes to games, or does he just sit and hold court in the pub? I think you'd be shocked at the amount of ordinary Bears that have been banned from FF for merely expressing an opinion.
  6. Drove thru' Dumbarton with the helicopter Sunday version of simply the best blaring out...... (I dont think they liked it !)
  7. Can I just totally agree with this statement - through personal experience, hence I'd never go near FF anymore. Instant ban for anyone not towing the 'party' line....(ie Dingwalls)
  8. PS - the same logic wil apply to CF tickets - only worse ! I know 2 guys that only go to home Celtic games and cup finals - they get tickets from a local supporters club (friendly with the sec) Suporters indeed !
  9. Ah but just try and get a ticket next Saturday - all the 'part time bears' 'glory hunters', et al, will be out in force, queuing up for tickets at every supporter club in the land. Sadly this will always be the case - I think you will find, the major culprit is supporters clubs, some fans want to pick and choose which (glamour?) games they go too. Hence supporter club secs standing along Edmiston drive trying to flog already paid for tickets. I'd personally hunt em !
  10. I've said it before, and I'll say it again - why in gods name would any Rangers fan buy, read or believe anything written in this rag. Dont buy it, read it, or quote from it !!
  11. Kinda thought about that, but its missing the game that would bug me. Quote from cop sergeant when my car got tanned last year ' Oh, your taking yer life in yer hands parking there - I'm not here to sort car crime, I'm here for crowd policing' !! Fat lazy kunt !!
  12. Just a warning for fans going to the remaining home games, try and avoid Cromdale Street and Cults street, just off Edmiston drive. There a load of neds hang about there (think one of them lives on the junction of Cruden St/Cromdale st), and invariably quite a few cars get tanned on match days. There always there before games. Its been reported to the cops, but they arent interested. Lotsa folk hanging about before games, and folk looking out windows, however when cars get tanned its quite noticeable how quiet it is along these streets after the game. Looks like 4 cars got done on these 2 streets again today - windows smashed and insides wrecked. Best avoided if possible folks.
  13. Actually - it does on this occasion...... So whats your take on the person that either made-up, or changed this email, for 'chain email' purposes?
  14. I think your getting a wee bit too emotional mate - take a deep breath and away and lie in a darkened room. No one is being direspectful to the UK (or any other) armed forces by pointing out that the email you have posted is, in all probablility, a fabricated email, thats been doing the rounds in various guises for a few years. For the life of me, I really can understand why anyone would wish to modify an email like this and put their own slant on it. By doing that, it degenerates the meaning completely. Lastly, before you berate posters on here for their airing their opinion, please take time out to consider what their profession might be - I wont say anymore on a public forum, but lets just say I have personal experience of this topic.. I think the message is, if you post a fabricated, or modified email, thats clearly abusing a 'situation' that may or may not have happened, then take it on the chin when someone points it out to you - dont go on the offensive and suggest the critisism is against the armed forces - nothing could be further from the truth.
  15. I guess its a nice story, albeit it does seem a bit far fetched and probably fabricated - I've had a few similar emails in work, each one is a slightly different variation on the theme. I'td be a shame if someone had actually made this up, however judging by the amount of very, very similar emails i've had, it sadly looks like this is another chain email - I dont wish to offend, but I've seen loads of these emails in my work. And as one other poster has noticed, this particular one originated from an American forces email from some years ago, now slightly changed to look like it happened in the UK. Then again if it generates some support for the forces then thats cool, even if it is probably a wee fabrication.
  16. I came across this email in work today which was posted on the MOD website some time ago. With the Marines being paraded at Sundays Hearts game, I think its appropriate along with the other brave souls in the armed services that have lost their lives, to reflect on a particular Bear who wont be at Ibrox ever again: It is with deep regret that the Ministry of Defence has confirmed the death of Marine Gary Wright, of 45 Commando Royal Marines, as a result of injuries sustained in Afghanistan. Marine Gary Wright [Picture: MOD] Marine Gary Wright died as a result of injuries sustained when a suicide-borne improvised explosive device detonated next to the vehicle in which he was patrolling in Lashkar Gah, Helmand Province, Afghanistan on 19 October 2006. Gary Wright, from Glasgow, was born on 30 September 1984. He joined the Royal Marines on 21 October 2002, and after completing his basic training at the Commando Training Centre in Lympstone, he passed out in July 2003 as a member of 843 Troop. He was an enthusiastic and physically fit Marine who possessed a cheerful and optimistic outlook on life. After training he joined 2 Troop, Whiskey Company, 45 Commando Royal Marines in Arbroath and deployed almost immediately for an operational tour of Northern Ireland where he excelled as a ‘Snatch’ Land Rover driver. During this period his determined and ambitious nature led him to undertake the Recce Troop Selection Course, which he passed with flying colours. He attended the physically and mentally demanding Recce Leaders’ Course in June 2004. This led to a two-year period with Recce Troop where he attended training exercises in the jungles of Ghana, the deserts and mountains of California and the savannahs of Senegal. In 2004 he also attended the Joint Services Parachute Course at Brize Norton and proudly wore his parachutists’ wings on his uniform. He spent the first three months of this year in Norway where he and the Troop honed their skills in long range recce in a cold weather environment, including ice climbing on frozen waterfalls and the use of skidoos, before beginning pre-deployment training for Op HERRICK 5. Marine Wright was extremely proud of his Scottish roots and ensured that wherever he was in the world he received a copy of the Daily Record. He was a keen football fan and a passionate supporter of his club Rangers. As a boy he had played in their youth teams and he made every effort to catch as many matches as he could at Ibrox. "He was an excellent Marine who died doing the job he loved." Lieutenant Colonel Duncan Dewar RM He loved cars and motorbikes and had a beautiful red MG Midget. He was going to take his motorbike test and was already deciding which bike he was going to buy. Gary was a popular and hard-working member of Recce Troop where his positive attitude and soldiering ability set a fine example to those around him. He was a consistently high performer who found he had a natural affinity to the harsh conditions encountered on demanding exercises and operations in a variety of environments. Above all Marine Wright was a friend to all, a great character and was full of life. He was an extremely popular member of 45 Commando and he will be sorely missed by all who were privileged to serve alongside him. Marine Wright’s Commanding Officer, Lieutenant Colonel Duncan Dewar RM, said of him: "Marine Wright was an outstanding young Royal Marine whose determination and professional ability led to his selection as a member of our highly specialised Recce Troop. Extremely popular with a good sense of humour, he was very highly thought of by everyone who worked with him. "He was an excellent Marine who died doing the job he loved and will be missed by all his friends in 45 Commando. Our thoughts are very much with his family at this difficult time." On being informed of the news, Defence Secretary Des Browne said: "I was greatly saddened to hear about the death of Marine Wright, the first member of 3 Commando Brigade to lose his life on this important mission in Afghanistan. My thoughts are very much with his family, friends and colleagues. I know that his loss will be felt deeply by all those who knew him but I have no doubt this will only strengthen the resolve of his fellow marines to carry on with the task in hand." MOD WEBSITE
  17. Couple of points that may help you do the decent thing: 1. 'i could very well get tickets for this match', dont you feel slightly embarrassed admitting to that? considering some supporters on here may have been to every game this year, and may not get a ticket? 2. 'i go to gers games quite frequently', why not give your gifted ticket, to someone more deserving - ie a supporter that goes more than 'frequently' To be honest, I actually find your post completely bizzarre - imagine asking for help to decided whether to go to a cup final? and rubbing in that you can get a ticket? Dont you feel slightly like a 'big game hunter?' I'm almost lost for words !
  18. Was my thoughts as well BD. Mendes turned it into Hainings favour....and i still maintain he won the ball....and that i would expect Boogie and Weir to be winning those type challenges all the time. One thing for sure is that Souness, Greig and Roberts would have done the exact same thing as Haining I actually think we are missing a bit of that at present in our team. We are sadly missing cold steel in our team, a lot slag McCulloch but he's yer lot, the rest are to soft ! We could do with a Terry Hurlock type player too Hurlock, Broon, Roberts, Ian Ferguson, Souness, Butcher, Forsyth, Greig, Shearer, Woodburn, Young could name quite a few of the type we are missing ! Gregor Stevens I used to play footie with him - nutter on the park, nice guy off it.
  19. Just before this debate goes any further, Scot Arfield is a 100% Rangers hating t*** - supported the dark side all his life - fact !!
  20. And yet some Rangers fans will still buy & financially support the Record - irrespective what they say about Rangers football club, its players, & fans. Institutionalised bigotry at the highest level !
  21. I don't buy papers at all - why not use the internet ?
  22. RR is quoting the NOTW, stating the Record contacted the SFA on Monday Burley, seemingly heard the record was going public and Barry & McGregor wanted to leave but stayed because of the other team members persuading them. Barry caught pished by Pressley at 11am - Broon went to bed between 8-9 am according to his informant. I smell shite from the Record PR team.
  23. I agree mate, but sadly more than 20% of bears using this forum will still continue to buy it ! I'd suggest that percentage is much, much higher outwith these online forums.
