  1. in fairness... due to our board's utter incompetence, half the squad that played under Gerrard have their contracts expiring next year. So he'll have a bit longer to demoralise the entire squad than you're giving him credit for. An obvious 'crowd-pleaser', and been hyped up in the press recently too (re his comments about him and Gerrard would have won the league last year).
  2. Worst thing is, they are fucking shite. Motherwell, Dundee and county have all given them a right scare recently. What team can really be that decent if you rely so often on last minute goals. I know some will point out “it’s not luck” and that’s fine - but it’s hardly their game plan to wait until the 97th minute either. This season is a write off because of our own fucking shambles. We now have between now and august to sort it out.
  3. Not done himself any favours there. Away hiding in the dresser. Fuck sake. Embarrassing.
  4. Exactly mate. We are long past the days where this should be seen as “unlucky.” We’re the biggest professional sports outfit in Scotland, and one of the biggest in the UK. It’s poor management of our assets & an area which needs drastic investment.
  5. This has been the slowest shitshow of a football game I’ve ever seen. Crying out for Sakala’s pace… even I can see that ffs
  6. Fuck them. Any of the unwashed mention it, it’s handy enough to talk about the raft of humiliating records they’ve accumulated. First out of 3 European comps in a season only last year!
  7. The question should be “in taking the risk to sign players such as roofe + souttar, with a known history of injury difficulties, were the board prepared to sign replacements (potentially over the odds in a January transfer window) if the gamble didn’t pay off?” … followed by, “if not, why would those be seen as suitable investments”
  8. We’d never be rid of face masks. Would take weeks to wash away the scent of the guy who was responsible for the tims all getting letters reminding them to wash
  9. Get fucking in there. Good that those sheep shagging cunts will now be going into the dressing room with their heads down.
  10. This makes no sense. We already have two of the biggest club stadiums in the UK, and I’m sure some of the highest attendances to. Also, where the fuck would they build a 100k stadium?!
  11. And that’s only if they’ll accept it. Usually they’ll only accept a payout of less than the club would owe them for the rest of the contract if they think they can get another club to sign them - and get back to playing first team football quicker… not the case here I don’t think.
  12. Am I a moron for hoping QPR slip up and his offers from the premiership dry up? Probably. am I going to do it anyway in the hopes that he’ll come to us? 100% yes.
  13. I should say, the fact that a guy like me, who’s sitting on his arse helping himself to a crate of tennents on a Friday night, thinks he can judge between these two is fucking comedy gold.
  14. I’ve always said this - I think messi is the better footballer, a joy to watch and reads the game better than any player I’ve ever seen in this era. Ronaldo probably the better ‘athlete’ for exactly the reason you say - he’s maximised his footballing ability because of his dedication/work.
  15. Probably the ultimate aim for SNP cuts
  16. Our progress is inevitably being held back by the league we play in. Harder to attract players, TV money etc. while I hated the idea of it before… I have to say I would probably change my tune if it meant we were playing madrid, Juventus etc every other week.
  17. in fairness, Morelos hasn't been the same since his injury.
  18. Suppose he could mean that you've got those teams, who have maybe only just missed out PLUS the fact you've still got more rounds to compete in than if you were in the last 16... maybe.
  19. Didn’t a judge refer to them as “intimately connected” before saying that the victims could legitimately sue beast FC?
  20. I would have argued last season that Kent was still the best player in Scotland on his day. I have been waiting in hope that they both sign extensions... but now I'm in the same boat as you - has to be the end of the road.
  21. I’m putting all my confidence on the line for this one. Aye, gone from one penalty away from a European trophy last season, to a horrific campaign this season - but we’re only 4 points off top. Same as they were last season. Hopefully Alfie has last nights miss on repeat in his head…
