Hate hearing "2012" as much as I hate hearing "55 / Europa League run" tbh, one is an excuse and the other is an attempt at justification for us coming up just short imo.
The team has a glaring mentality issue and has consistently shat the bed and imploded when it had one hand on multiple trophies in recent seasons!
Off the top of my head.. Scottish Cup final 2016, League Cup final 2019, getting knocked out of both cups at the QF stage by St Mirren and St Johnstone the 55 season. The cup failures in the semi's and final THIS season!! the 2 seasons we came back after the winter break and capitulated, the 12 point swing under Gio!!!
These missed opportunities are on us! The journey ended a while ago the club NEEDS to kick on and STOP feeling sorry for itself.

Agreed wholeheartedly with this. As soon as we were crowned champions, we could np longer come away with the "look where we've come from" excuse.  From then on it should have been "look where we are NOW". For the board to have squandered a golden opportunity to keep on top (and be guaranteed CL football in the process) was incredible.  Every fan could see the problems with the squad and recruitment yet (somehow) those in charge of the club couldn't.
I'd love to be in the position to ask the board how long they honestly think we'll be selling out Ibrox for if things don't improve behind the scenes and on the pitch next season?

Mate I’ve found myself ranting on here this week too and we are not the only ones. I think collectively as a fan base we are sick of a variety of things and don’t want to hear excuses and see the same mistakes being made again and again. The board need to understand that substantial changes need to happen and happen quickly.

This would look different if Billy Gilmour stayed and played 100+ games before moving on and then Patterson got an opportunity to play 100+ games, this season should've been the year Rory Wilson broke into the first team and you'd hope he'd get ~100 appearances under his belt before moving them on.
I'm not sure what guys like Mulholland can do other than develop these boys to a certain extent, then it's upto the first team manager to create a pathway to the first team for them but two of those didn't think a pathway was there (Gilmour and Wilson) and the other (Patterson) got into the squad but there was little opportunity available to make that position his own.
Add King, Lowry and Devine and the next generation is knocking on the door, they need an avenue to the first team, King got thrown in at the deep end and time will tell if that's going to have an adverse effect on him, Lowry is the one the fans think can make the grade, timing is key though, in normal circumstances this would be an opportunity for him to get 5 starts in his preferred position under his belt but given what he's going through personally that might not be possible right now.
I think people just look at the lack of youth in the first team and assume we aren't producing the talent but I think we are but for one reason or another we've not had the chance to see them progress into the first team, and ones that have then not in anyway near a regular basis.

Absolutely agree with this - we were playing to full houses at Ibrox even in the lowest league yet we were paying stupid money for players who weren't required. They were too well paid - we were paying one player the entire squad budget for most of our opponents. We should have paid a good manager to bring through youthful talent at the right price and, by the time, we got back to where we belong, the bank account would have been swollen with funds to buy top class talent. THATS where we went wrong.
I cant recall who it was but we took a player from the premier league and tripled his wages to pay for us in DIV 3 FFS

The running of the club has been awful for years.  We royally fucked up by, unnecessarily, squandering huge amounts of money on journeymen in the lower leagues rather than focusing on youth and rebuilding for the future.  Unfortunately, this has continued since getting back to the top flight.  We've had a scattergun approach to signings rather than following any sort of strategy.  This has gifted the scum the opportunity to equal and (most likely) surpass our records in the not too distant future.
I'm hoping that we'll see an improvement in the running of the club but I can't say I have confidence that this will happen.

They're two of our highest earners.  Ok, they've chosen to run down their contracts which they're perfectly entitled to do (we've certainly benefitted from FOC) but they've completely switched off and, basically, been taking the p!ss all season.
Deserve every bit of abuse they get IMHO and hope they won't be given a chance to pull on our jersey again.

To me the vallue of the next five games will be giving a few youngsters a run out.
A lot has been said about limited funds for transfers, so if we can bring through some of our B team players, then that's more money will have for other positions.
McCrorrie playing is an absolute must for me.

Some of the decisions taken under Wilson and this board have rivalled those taken leading us to administration.
The basics of letting valuable assets run their contracts to 0 is so incompetent it beggars belief.
The lack of expertise on the board, the cronyism, the amateurism in so many aspects of the club is frightening.
I actually can’t believe the recruitment under Wilson when you look down the list. The lack of strategy, the basics of squad management, the markets we shop in.
It’s almost impossible to have done a worse job.
Hoping these recent departures are partly led by Beale cutting out the rot.
