Would anyone want rob Southampton of Skacel?
Gloverdulf replied to jrms999's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
If we could get him on the cheap then aye its a decent bit of business. What Id imagine happening is that we'll hum and haw about it and he'll sign for the bHeggars. I can see the same thing happening with Dorman as well althought at a million quid im not sure thats a bad thing -
Surely fishing? I know a few Hibs fans and they want shot of him... Doesnt that say it all?
-
4 million for Sasa is about right ...
-
Their ratios are about the same, 5 in 15 for Feeney and 9 in 25 for Miller. Plus Miller would be expected to score more goals given that hes playing in a better team. Im not advocating Feeney as the answer or even saying that hes better than Miller. Just making the point that you can make stats dance to back up either arguement Devils Advocate Loyal

If we won the league on the last day ...
Gloverdulf replied to OrangeBurn's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
Better than winning it vs Dunfermline only because we should have had that title wrapped up before the last day imo. I dont think it would be better than Helicopter Sunday unless it happened in the same way... 10 mins to go etc etc -
He was on the bench against Motherwell. I cant see him making the bench if he's not training with the team.

Why no Boyd in the player of the season awards?
Gloverdulf replied to Boab's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
Boyd's got no chance of winning the golden boot for the reason goals in the SPL are only worth 1.5 points, whereas goals in better leagues are worth 2 points. And the fact the Messi, Eto'o and I think Henry are all on more goals than him. Only Eto'o has more league goals than him. Messi has more goals total but a lot of those coming in Europe which don't count towards the golden shoe! Henry is ONLY on 22, He's having a pish season in comparison to his teammates -
Rangers come before anything other than funerals for me!

This picture will bring a smile to everyone's faces...

Great to see him back! Hopefully he can come back from this and recapture the form he was showing at the start of the season! -
A small problem - do we now drop Dailly?
Gloverdulf replied to Danny's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
I think Walter will bring Papac back in and maybe keep Dailly in as well. Whittaker can go to pieces when the fans get on his back and youd have to expect the Hibs fans to give him hell. Personally I wouldnt change a winning team but apparently we're getting Kenny Miller back... -
Now theres a real heavy weight midfield (NOT)! I dont see why the weight of the midfield would be an issue? For me thats a midfield that can actually play football. If you've seen Barca play this season or Spain in the Euros then you'll know that if you move the ball around quickly and retain possession then it doesnt matter what size you are. Im no trying to compare us to Spain/Barca Im just pointing out that just because the SPL can be a physical league doesnt mean we have to lower ourselves too it.

I voted for Pedros goal against Celtic. Although Boyd vs Partick and Pedro vs ICT were better goals technically, the one against the scum gets it for these reasons: It was a worked move from a corner which we almost never do! It made Boruc look stupid (Pre Broadfoots cross making him look fucking useless) It came at a crucial time in the game to kill the game off It was against Celtic

What was your favourite Rangers strip?
Gloverdulf replied to nieto24's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
Nobody for the purple strip? -
One of the best managers in the English Prem I would love to have him at Ibrox. I think we're years too late though. As already mentioned hes being touted for the Man Ure job and therefore way way out of our league. On a side note, anyone who wouldnt have him because he played for Celtic needs to drag their knuckles out of the dark ages.

We will soon know if WS will bring the Boozing Buddys
Gloverdulf replied to nvager's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
If theres any debate about Barry having had too much influence in the past then is it not settled by the events of 2 years ago. PLG etc etc Whether he was working his ticket or not, that incident showed that Barry Big Baws was more important to SDM than le manager PLG. IMHO a manager (even an inept one like PLG) should always have the backing of the chairman in a dispute with a player. Lets look at the points: PLG felt Barry was a disruptive influence (drinking when he shouldnt be) PLG said that Barry affected morale (Whingeing at players of "lesser ability" the Charlie Adams of this world, only makes them play worse when theyre already playing sub-par. A real captain would get an arm round the shoulder and a wee word of encouragement. I cant ever remember Fergie doing this) PLG said Barry ignored his tactical instructions. (Barry doesnt have a position, he comes deep to get the ball when it suits him, he forages up the park when it suits him, he wants to take all the corners, shys, free kicks) Now Im not daft, Barry Ferguson on his day is a cracking footballer. Hes in no way finished or past it as has been reported in the mHedia. HOWEVER I think we, the fans, deserve another apology. A heartfelt one. One where i actually beleive that he realises how embarressed I was when i saw the pictures of him on the paper behaving like a wean. Cause thats all it was. " Aww look at them, they told on me for staying up getting pished, aye fuck ye's" Totally and uttertly unacceptable from ANY Rangers player never mind the Captain. Id be stupid and naive to think he wont pull on the famous blue jersey and run out at Ibrox again, but if he does it without an apology: This bear will never forgive him. /rant over -

When we beat hibs on Sunday it will go a long way to
Gloverdulf replied to BLUEDIGNITY's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
We are The Rangers nuthin to tough for us ! Walter Smith has yet to win at Tannadice since his return. Or Pittodrie, doesnt mean that it cant all change. I think as long as he picks the right players in the right positions then theres no reason why we cant win the title. WATP -
Has Edu done enough to hold his place in the team?
Gloverdulf replied to nvager's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
Great Post 100% agree -
Id pick the same XI. Will Walter? Will he feck

If the league goes to the last game....
Gloverdulf replied to trueblueal's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
Personally I wouldnt have him anywhere near another Rangers XI so its a no for me...
