  1. Never mind. Just thinking about what that would involve, but there's no point discussing it - I'm sick of non-football chat
  2. It's very simple - SunSport have made up a story and printed it. This might be the most easily detectable nonsense story I've ever seen. Does anyone on here actually buy this?
  3. You're right about the youth players, we can't afford senior players unless we get the Thunderball on Saturday. If we are sensible with our cash from here on in, we can live to die another day, with a view to killing off our rivals in future.
  4. We own that fucking bank. How dare they even dream of knocking back a 140 year old British institution? They should feel privileged to have a name like ours asking for their services.
  5. Summed up my feelings exactly, very well put.
  6. Not a word of a lie, I was in Belgium over new year and I met a Belgian chap who was desperate to tell me how fucked up their format is. The best team over a season rarely becomes champion. I was horrified as he explained it to me. It's utterly unfair and unsporting.
  7. So he is admitting that we have PAID THEIR WAGES FOR YEARS! Sporting integrity indeed.
  8. He may have been advised by a professional to stay away for a while. It's only human nature that this level of stress over a long period of time could be detremental to his health. I wouldn't pry - Ally has arned our 100% trust and he'll be back. Don't you worry.
  9. Great idea by the OP. I was going to suggest The Humble Pioneers, until I realised it starts with humble pie
  10. Did Broadfoot not report to training today?
  11. The funny thing is, normally at this time of year we are bemoaning the lack of players, how we have no cash for replacements and how our stars being poached. All of that stuff is ten times worse this year, but all I feel is very proud and very lucky to see a group of players (however small) turning up to training and showing so much passion and character for the club I love.
  12. Haha name one world famous oak tree! I get your point though
  13. Should knock a fair bit off the wage budget and a ready made replacement in Alexander can take the step up to immediate hero status (and the new best keeper in Scottish football). Come on Green, make sure Neil reports for duty next week.
  14. A fantastic commitment. By sticking around Lee Wallace is finding a family for life that most players, in their short careers, will never find.
  15. Fans who renewed already done so in good faith, on assurances that the money would go where they intended. The taxman/legal folk can seemingly do what they want to the club, but these are ordinary folk who are spending their hard earned cash. If the taxman/creditors take this from the fans, it is surely ill-gotten and a horrible way to treat tax-paying citizens. Regardless of Green's incompetence, there would be all out war on the streets if this money was stolen from those fans pockets.
  16. Wow.....just....fucking....wow My question is, how do they sleep at night?
  17. It feels almost as if he knew this day would come. It feels like he was talking about us, in the here and now. Powerful words.
  18. You're right, there is no reason to stay in the SPL. It has clearly failed.
  19. It HAS to be the 3rd Division now. This is nothing less than all out cultural war, and we will be the winners. Those who want us finished don't realise that all the ill-treatment we have received will radicalise the armchair fans, and threats of SPL and sponsor boycotts will seem tame in comparison to the retaliation we finally inflict. I've said it before and I'll say it again, however powerful we are as a fanbase pales in comparison to how much power we wield as a consumer base and a cultural majority. If we are sent to division 3, or if they try to enforce ridiculous sanctions, we will drastically reduce the money we give to SPL sponsors, making it a poisoned chalice that no company will be willing to pay for. Not only do we need to go to the third division, we must also never return to the SPL. The bottom three tiers will become the new top three tiers as SPL teams fold and the smaller clubs are rejuvenated with the new income we bring. Rangers and the other teams registered with the SFA will form an alliance so strong that only failing SPL teams who show the appropriate subservience will be allowed to join. If you think the above is unrealistic, then that is only because you have already decided you won't do what is necessary.
  20. I'd rename my child if it could raise £10million (or if I had any)
