  1. Great idea! Although you could easily just play Tainted Love!
  2. Course not. Just the vital bits of information are pish.
  3. People, do you never learn? If the rags say he is on £20,000, then he is probably actually on £10,000. Every...mother...fucking...time some of you twats just quote their pish. They are saying it to get more of a reaction from you - learn a lesson!
  4. Yes, that's true - part of me thinks we'll be able to agree reasonable terms with them though. They know that if we can survive, we can sort out repayment for them over a long period. Mind you, this is the heart talking.
  5. My hope is that the investors will be able to lodge bids with caveats so the unknowns won't be an issue. For example, the Blue Knights could say "We'll buy you if the tax debt is £20 million over ten years" and in turn this might pressure HMRC to say "OK then." I think a big part of this exercise will be HMRC seeing who is willing to bid the most for their debt.
  6. Sorry if I sound like I am repeating myself, but aren't they saying that maybe Ticketus will be repaid, but only as a percentage of an agreed overall fee? Regarding the huge cash throwing - that's our job
  7. "liability will be part of the creditors share out - far example, if there is a pot of £20m to share out - each party will get a dividend whether the total liability is say £40 million or £100 million" What I take from this is that the CVA could genuinly save the club. I was worried that the CVA would land us with unpayable debt, but they seem to be saying an overall liability fee might be agreed and shared among the creditors/debtors. In other words - some cunt says we have to pay £25 million out in total. HMRC get 10, Ticketus get 5 etc etc. If this is the case, we all band together and use saverangers pledges (or whatever method) to help pay off a chunk of that debt, allowing investors to see the club as a good move financially. Am I right here or have I picked it up wrong?
  8. This is a strange one. There is certainly a few rumblings that if Ticketus get that cash then we have a stronger case for undoing the whole deal, but I've no idea if this theory was debunked or not.
  9. Erm, on the whole not too bad then!...Right? I don't have the required knowledge to say for sure, but if no.8 comes to pass we'll be flying high as the bears will unite to wipe that £20 million within months I'd be interested to see what those who are less optimistic think.
  10. Good man, me too Although I must admit I don't enjoy watching Wylde trying to cross a ball
  11. Kind words scouseblue - much appreciated We need all the friends we can get and I'm positive we have many out there. So many supporters in this country love and respect the sport itself and see the bigger picture when trouble comes knocking at another teams door. I just hope there are many more like you who will celebrate if we can be saved.
  12. Something pisses me off about someone joining this site and immediately saying our manager must go. It might just be post-count snobbery and I'm not attacking the OP in particular, but imagine walking into a room of strangers in an office and telling the boss to get the fuck out. You did at least justify your demands though so I'll try and properly respond to your post: - arguably our greatest ever manager fully endorsed him - the European knock outs were his first competitive games and many managers who suffer the same start go on to have great success - Ally tried to change a system which was set in stone by Walter. He hasn't had the resources, stability or time to make it work - his playing career with us started badly and he turned that around with a vengeance - the team were docked 10 points and recent losses were arguably much more to do with our situation than his tactics (we just don't know) - he's been working more like a social worker than a manager in recent weeks and that surely must affect his ability to do his job - the success rate of his signings is no worse than most teams. Alex Ferguson himself says 50% is a good ratio - when Naismith and Jelavic were in the team, we were winning enough games to win the league. No manager can keep up those results after losing their two best players without a single replacement The bottom line is I will agree he has done a less than satisfactory job, but he has simply not yet had his chance. We NEED a man like Ally to take us through the difficult periods in the near future. If we did decide to go with someone new, it would be a big decision and one which I'm not prepared to support until we know exactly where we stand.
  13. It's a horrible state of affairs Maybe if it doesn't put off detractors it might embolden the on-the-fencers to pay more attention to what is being said against us?
  14. Here's hoping And let's hope even more than by some miraculous twist we can ensure that second spot still means European football. I'm sure with the right player cull, we can make the most of this cost-cutting excersize and limit the job losses accross the board.
  15. Yeah, you're right he could have said more regarding the on the park issues. Let's just hope with a bit of luck his words put some detractors off for a while.
  16. Hmm, that's not an opinion I agree with, but I can see where you're coming from. Personally I think a narrow loss to Hearts today after poor refereeing decisions is understandable given the severity of the trauma the players are going through. I will admit though, my patience won't last forever and I may share your opinion if these results continue. All I can do is encourage you to show them some more faith a little while longer because I, and many other fans, believe they deserve it.
  17. True, but in this case I think Ally made the right move with a warning shot as he isn't just referring to liewell and those at the glitterdome. Some of those who aren't died-in-the-wool tims might take the hint and change their tune.
  18. In the same way a new manager/stadium/contract makes a difference - psychologically.
  19. I could be wrong here, but football players have short careers and so the vast majority of them must stockpile cash for their future. In 2, 3, 5, 10, 15 years when they retire, what difference will 3 months wages at 50 or 75% really make? Dip into the savings lads and have a nice payday in the summer when you can move on without damaging the club. In saying all of the above, I wouldn't hold a grudge against any player who really did say they couldn't pay the bills without it - it would just be a great gesture is all.
  20. Every situation is different. I doubt Dundee had so many filthy perverts sticking the boot in at every turn.
  21. The ref showed him two yellows, then looked up into his angry face and quickly put his cards away.
  22. This is the warning shot. The naming may come if it is persistent.
