  1. Where has Nacho's composure went? His first season with us he couldnt fucking miss the target, but lately he is just scuffing shots And with Boyd not scoring freely, and Miller goal-shy as well, no wonder 0-0's are our forte I still think we can win here though, i'll take 1-0 no matter how it comes. Off Boyds erse with 10 minutes to go will do me nicely.
  2. 1 touch passing seems to be banned from Ibrox i think, i mean for christ sake. No one has a good first touch at all
  3. Fucking awful once more. We will be VERY lucky to win this game, and if we do, it will be undeserved again.
  4. Holy fuck we're struggling badly need a goal here, come Rangers, press this shower of shite !
  5. This game is tailor made for Boyd.....honestly, it is!
  6. Creating, but Novo's composure has let us down so far. Rothen causing all the problems for us. Need to calm it down in front of goal.
  7. I HOPE that Davis has just picked up a small knock and that its just precautionary as we have 2 huge games coming up.
  8. I'm actually relatively happy with that team. Plenty of movement and mobility up front, we have got the creativity of Rothen in there too. Thomson and McCulloch need to get wired right into the midfield, and press them early on. Come on Rangers.
  9. We are capable of winning all 3 games, but on the flip side, its not impossible for us NOT to win any of them. This really IS a massive week!
  10. He was at the wrong club with us tbh. He will shine elsewhere i have no doubt.
  11. You can't really argue with Smith. He's made plenty of baffling decisions, but 9 times out of 10 always turn out to be the right 1. He has a hold over the tims as well, and enjoys firing everyone up for getting tore into they bastards. However, because he has done great things in the past, he shouldn't be exempt from constructive criticism. Along with the rest of the coaching team, and players. Walter is a legend, he should be shown respect,by everyone associated with Rangers. Seeing people on here calling him senile and other absolute utter shite, is simply embarrassing, and its those 'fans' that i do not have any time for at all.
  12. Need a vastly improved performance from the last 3, where we have been lucky to take anything out of them all to be honest. We are usually pretty formidable at home in the SPL. Aberdeen are pish, but would still be a good result for us to turn them over by 2 or 3. If ever a game can get our confidence back its this 1. This is Boyd and Millers comfort zone, i expect them both to start, and probably both to score. Away from home both are toiling badly it has to be said. I fancy us for 2-0, but with yet another scrappy performance, full of long, hopeful balls from the back, then everyone coming on here and slating Mendes and Davis for not getting involved in the game (Joke, i know Mendes is suspended ) It's a sad day when even the fans can predict exactly how we'll play, even if we don't always get the scoreline right. Hope to see Lafferty come on in the 2nd half at some point (last i heard he was fit for this 1, but still wouldnt expect him to start) Come on Rangers, get it to-fucking-gether.
  13. Again, stop with the fcking injury time paranoia. Belamy goal, substitution and time wasting made up for the injury time played. Cool yer jets matey, i don't care that much Its consistancy though. In most other matches around the UK, there are incidents during the injury time that SHOULD make it a bit longer. (btw, Bellamy's goal was before 90 minutes) But the majority finish on time, if not maybe 30 seconds later. But todays injury time went over 2 minutes over the 4 that was given. But meh, United wont give a fuck. Based on the 2nd half Utd deserved to win, but it was close!
  14. Great game, but yet another case of phantom injury time at OT until they score Hughes must have been ripping his hair out!
  15. Mayweather is just too good. I dont think Marquez landed 10 punches cleanly on him the entire fight. I don't see anyone beating him although i'd like to see Pacqiauo at least given a chance against him.
  16. I think that is a fair assesment. Here is my point though, you are saying about him adding parts to his game etc, yes that would be fantastic. If you added pace, power, ability on the ball to Kris Boyd, he would be worth a fucking bomb. But you said it yourself, he was terrific at first for us, he was actually quite fast, and had good control of the ball. He seems to have LOST that part of his game, whether thats due to management wanting him to do other things, or whether he just doesnt have the heart for it any more as he is in a comfort zone scoring freely at Ibrox in "non-big" occasions, i don't know. He shouldnt really need to improve on his game, he should be a good enough player to be leading our line. This is Rangers, and we are not asking for miracles from Kris, just the basics. He ISN'T the only one with this problem. We seem to get a nosebleed if we string more than 3 passes together at the one time, and end up slicing it out of play. It also does not help him when the likes of Weir are just hoofing it up the park to him when he has about 3 defenders around him, and Miller's runs seem to be getting wider and wider that it would take Iniesta to pick him out with a pass regularly. Its the whole package of him and Miller up front thats not working. I didnt feel it worked particularly well last season either when people were saying about them being a prolific partnership. Their link up was predictable. Lump up to Boyd, knock down to Miller, and just hope for scraps after there. The reality is right now Miller and Boyd simply arent turning up this season. Naismith has been much better than both of them (apart from today when he was as bad as both of them) and Lafferty is looking really sharp when played through the middle ( but typical Rangers luck, scores a cracking goal, then gets injured) , Walter needs to sacrifice the Boyd / Miller front line, for the good of our season before it gets any worse. Im in no doubt at Ibrox Boyd will deliver, and will score plenty, and probably will score the odd away goal. But when he turns in terrible performance after terrible performance, changes are needed. And that goes for everyone in the first 11.
  17. We tried to rest some players today and it back-fired. We arent good enough to rest more than 3 players. This will be near enough a full strength team for us.
  18. Lafferty and Naismith seem to be the only 2 with any real quality up front. (Although Naismith was rank rotten today) The problem is, that Boyd and Miller are just TOO opposite, there is no middle ground with them. Boyd won't move, has no ability on the ball, and gives away countless free-kicks. Miller runs like fuck, but can't control the ball, and is struggling in front of the net. Neither are in any sort of good form, and both should be dropped. Lafferty does very well when played through the middle, i'd have Naismith to the left of him and Rothen to the right. SOMETHING has to change as we aren't improving, we are getting worse. The CL games take care of themselves, but its games like today that is our bread and butter and we simply aren't turning up and getting out-played by average teams.
  19. We can't say that we made Killie and Motherwell look good. Both teams were far superior to us in both games and we are lucky to come away with 2 points out of 6. And that in itself, is a complete and utter farce of a situation.
  20. McGregors shot stopping is excellent, it always has been. It's when he comes for crosses, distrubutes the ball, and his tendancy to sell us goals with howlers every now and then that lets him down big style. As for the player Raters, no one should be above the "4" rate IMO.
