I think we just have to be patient. Any deal will probably take a few more days, and that's only if ourselves or any other club meet his valuation. We won't rush anything because other teams are looking at him.

Watched him today and he was excellent. Hopefully over the next couple of weeks or so we may manage to get this guy signed.

Lafferty is a good player. If played consistantly through the middle, he will get goals and add a whole lot more to the team contribution outwith goals as well.

I would say this season it has been far from predictable. Lyon and Bayern Munich semi-final? We desperately need Euro money to keep us at a decent level. With the looming prospect of no CL football for a long time in the air, we could be in for a horrible few years, and it's been on the cards. Scottish football is a backwater nonsense league.

This is exactly the reason why he has said this though. We can all laugh at how gash Celtic are, and how we are coasting this league, but at the end of the day there are problems that lie far deeper than that and Walter is trying to open everyones eyes. We are too busy getting carried away laughing at the tims to realise that it's our own club that are in serious serious bother unless this situations resolved.

Not frightened of Keane at all. My mate down here is a massive Spurs fan and when he found out the news that Keane had left he was over the moon. Said he isn't as fast as he was, doesn't do hee haw any more and is basically a passenger at times living on past reputations. Bellamy at the time was a better player for them than this prick will be, and we still won the league that year even being 5 points behind at 1 point, not 10 points clear as we are now. If Keane puts the fear of god into us then there is no helping us. Bring them on.

Yes, as Rangers fans we have every right to expect this. Those days are over Manti. No, we've not come so low that we shouldn't expect to beat Accies with ease. I'm not talking about Barca here..... Even Barca don't have it all their own way all the time against lower opposition. We battered them for most of that 2nd half last night but thanks to some outstanding goal-keeping, terrible refereeing, poor finishing and heroic defending we didn't score. I was in no doubt that we would score in extra time as the goal was a long time coming and Accies defence couldn't hold out much longer. Had we played really bad and scraped through i would be concerned, but we were streets ahead of them last night, and eventually got our rewards.

Are we forgetting that Hearts are fucking gash? McCulloch and/or Fleck will do fine.

Thommo was really poor again. Fleck was terrible 1st half, gave away the ball numerous times, but 2nd half he was a bit more central and came on to a game.

I apologise for not keeping tabs on what you said and did not say last year, i may have missed the occasional post... His dive has been blown way way out of proportion, not just on here but in the scottish media in general. Diving goes on up and down the country every fecking game, even other Rangers players do it, but none of them were focused on as much as Laffertys. His tackle was badly timed, but was there any real malice intended? I don't believe for a second that there was. You'll have to point me in the direction of when his interviews have been "mouthy" because i have yet to see this from him. He has been decent in any interview i've seen him in, but if he has said something and everyone has latched on to it and turned it into something it isn't then i wouldnt in the least bit be surprised. Also, he stinks of 'i've made it i'm brilliant" ? Do you know this guy personally? Or are you just making that up to fit your own personal disliking of him in general? I think the latter is more likely. Like i said previously, getting on this lads back when he is clearly low in confidence will do no one any good.
