I think big Lafferty is a good player, and has been pretty good for us, all be it he has mainly been shunted out on the left hand side. Get him played through the middle for a long stretch of time and we will see the benefits IMO.

We could probably get 750k for him. 500 is a fair price for this standard of player who has 6 months left in his contract.

TBF, they had plenty of the ball, but only really Maloney had a good chance to score. McGregor never had to work hard to make any saves, and if anything we should have made it 3 in that second half as we had a couple of good chances. It was made needlessly difficult, as we were 2-0 up and coasting, but we got there in the end and that's what counts in these matches

No, Sevilla weren't all that great. But we still recieved a beating of the likes we haven't experienced in years. I think it is perfectly understandable for fans to be hurting and feeling negative right now, on the back of our domestic form as well.

I'd play Boyd. I've noticed something with him, we always say he needs a partner to do all the leg-work for him, and that is when Boyd becomes lazy and anonymous. Whenever he is played throught he middle himself, he works like a fucker! Because he knows he has to. If we lose this game...jesus i don't even want to think about it. We got handed a severe pasting last night. But for a huge number of reasons we did not deserve it. However the players confidence must be absolutely shattered, having played so so well yet getting torn to shreds like that has to be a real wake up call. EVERYTHING about us must change, if we continue down the road we are on, there will be no pot of gold at the end of it , i assure you.

I think Naismith can't be any worse than Miller thats for sure,and he's more of a goal threat than him at this moment in time too. Smart decision from Walter. Its our lack of width that worries me, but, i still think its a good enough side to get something tonight. Come on Rangers !

That hasn't worked all that well has it? Yes 3 clean sheets, but we havent defended that great. Aberdeen,Killie AND Motherwell had terrific chances to beat us, and any of them had a half decent striker to put them away, we could be looking at 0 out of 9 points. Sevilla won't have any problems creating and scoring v us.

I'd pay a lot of money just to see a video of our training schedule for 1 week. We can't do the fucking basics, we only got a good set piece taker at the beginning of this season, yet we still dont practice any movement from corners or free kicks. NO ONE has got a decent first touch. Mendes used to, he seems to have been drawn down to our pishy standard. Bougherra is our main attracking threat it seems and he is a fucking central defender, and he only bombs forward because he knows we are struggling to do fucking anything useful up front. Kevin Thomson is near enough anonymous in midfield except when he is hacking someone down randomly. Future captain my arse. Lee McCulloch kicks a good ball for us once every 2 years apparently. David Weir apparently with all his experience makes schoolboy errors at will due to his age yet because of the sentimental value he plays 90 minutes religiously every week regardless of the opposition. Steven Whittaker is like Bambi on ice, looks ok going forward, but gets the arse tore out of him by any half-decent winger who runs at him. Kenny Miller has been absolutely useless this season, like he was for LARGE parts of last season, although he played well in the run-in, therefore we apparently couldnt have won the league without him. An imposter. Kris Boyd can't fucking buy a goal this season either, and this is what we are told he is there to do! Now he officially doesn't do anything, as he used to do nothing and score. Nacho Novo has lost all his composure he used to have in front of goal, and should now be an impact player at all times, or sold. Lafferty and Edu are our big misses at the minute, but to be honest, i'm not sure either of them will improve us significantly. As the OP said, we arent getting better at all, we are getting steadily worse.

Miller,Boyd AND Novo shouldnt be starting a game. Naismith has been poor last few too. So we are left with absolutely no strikers as Lafferty is injured. Hooray!

From back to front, we are so painfully average. Bougherra is the only 1 playing a good standard. Literally, the ONLY one. Occasionally Rothen. The rest are absolutely fucking shocking. Its like watching fucking Doncaster play this season. The thing is, Walter would have been happy with 0-0 v Sevilla, but now he's in a position that the fans wont be anywhere NEAR happy with 0-0 v them. We will be wanting an immensely improved performance. T The spaniards must be quaking in their boots as we speak. And before anyone says anything, it isn't a knee-jerk reaction when you complain after our THIRD goalless draw in the SPL, consecutively! We are not Rangers class. Just determined to hand Celtic the title as early as possible. Even if we fucking beat them they will still be top knowing they have us twice at snake mountain. This is a nightmare!
