  1. As of next week for the final, anyone coming to Orlando for holidays will have a choice of venues to watch the games. The Orlando RSC will open a NARSA affiliated satellite club on International Drive at the George and Dragon pub adjacent to Wet and Wild. All will be welcome. The Fox and Hounds in Kissimmee will continue to show the games also we would like to stress that both these venues are run by the same Orlando RSC and the reasons for the satellite club are purely logistical. We hope this will help many visitors to see the games in the future.
  2. moffat near where you stay??? funny place name!! sounds like your saying "am off it" moffat aint far from lockerbie ive played golf there twice nice course but the town is like a ghost town I won a tournament at that course back in the late 1960's. I hear Haggs is a nice course? yes haggs is a very nice course only played twice but i will be playing a lot more during the lighter nights You mean your not banned yet. Back on topic. Got a kicking in Queen Street station after the 1970 league cup final (Derek Johnstone) 2 of us got jumped by a gang of pish stained thugs.
  3. If he actually said this, it's the first time I will ever have agreed with this arsehole. I still expect him to come out with something negative against us.
  4. He wasn't good today but still put in a far better shift than Boyd even though he was out of position.
  5. I was lucky enough to see him play for Rangers in the early 60's then again for Notts Forest four years later when my dad was moved down to the midlands when his mine closed down in Scotland. I was also lucky enough to see him sit on the ball at Wembley. The best I've seen live and that includes Best and Maradona.
  6. http://video.google.co.uk/videosearch?hl=e...4&ct=title# He was the man that stuffed the tic.
  7. I think if he doesn't get more playing time soon we will lose him. He has certainly looked the part the little we have seen of him. I would rather see something like --------------Ferguson--------------- Davis--------Mendes-----------Aaron ---------------Fleck------------------ --------------Lafferty-----------------
  8. On the few games I get over for every year, I either go with the Montrose bus or with wee Monty on the Nithsdale.
  9. You can only piss with the cock that you have the players must take responsibility for their owm performance. Most people would have only disagreed with Big Lee's inclusion in the starting line up today. He however did OK. If Walter read the riot act at half time it was because the players on the park were not following his game plan, you can't then say he should have read the riot act before the kick off as you would have to assume he gave the tactics before they started.
  10. it is my fashion algerian friend of PARIS she is pretty damn fine we have more better than this girl you know but she is pretty she has blue eyes my friend I'm working in Hassi Messaoud at the moment and have not seen too many like her there.
  11. I'm sure you would have enjoyed Garry's company, he was one of the best Rangers men you could ever meet but not sharing a beer.
  12. You don't have to be 21 to go in but they are pretty strict about under age drinking. They will ask for proof of age.
  13. yes gersgirl he was a regular attender at the narsa conventions so a lot of north american bears will have been friends with garry Did not know Garry was sick. A very sad loss to all that knew him. Thoughts with his wife and family. We will miss you Garry RIP.
  14. Any time I come home to Scotland I go to away games with the Nithsdale and usually end up back in the New Regent with Monty after the home games. The bus is always well organized.
  15. I couldn't care less what a bunch of pish stained, shite smeared, bead rattling paedophiles from the East End call me.
  16. There's a couple of good Rangers pubs in Shawlands 20-30 minutes walk from Hampdump. 5 mins in a taxi if you can get one.
  17. Enjoy http://blogs.myspace.com/glasgowrangers1873
  18. As someone else said in the USA, NFL and NBA have caps. The way it works in Basketball is that the team can only pay out so much in salary. i.e. lets say the salary cap is $10,000,000 for the season, if 1 player gets 8,000,000 then there is only 2,000,000 for the rest of the team. Only exceptions are home grown players or players who come from the draft, they are not effected by the salary cap. This means no team can buy all the superstars.
  19. Another good display and Walter will sell him.
  20. I would rather save the extra wages and bring one of the youngsters through. I just don't see spending good cash on fringe players wages when we have good youngsters of our own.
  21. In an ideal world they would be able to canvass all members on every issue. But with all of them having jobs and families to do as well as this, the time is just not there to do thes things all the time. Have you attended the EGM/AGM's of the RST. The answers are all given out there at the meetings, where you can discuss it for as long as you want and propose any issue or idea or point you wish to raise. It then goes to a show of hands from all attending and either carried or rejected as a majority of members. The RST (and I know because I asked and they told me) get an awful lot of correspondence in their inbox and mailbox from members asking direct questions and proposing ideas all the time. It is from these messages from their membership that they can see patterns of support for a particular course of action. If they get 100 emails asking them to support a particular course of action and only a couple saying they should not, it is clear that the majority of members who can be bothered to contact them feel a certain way. If you cannot be bothered to contact the body of which you are a member to try to move policy in a specific direction, how can you possibly moan about that decision if it was taken after receiving numerous requests for that course of action to be taken? And if you feel strongly enough about the whole issue and feel the current RST board is not doing things in the way you would wish them to on your behalf, you can go to the next meeting or AGM and vote them out. It is, if nothing else, democratic. I'll see you there. The problem is it was not difficult to canvass the whole membership when wanting to sell ties etc but it is when launching a protest. As an overseas life member of the RST I would like to be kept better informed of what the board are doing in my name before I read about it in the press. It is not easy for everyone to attend meetings. I do support this agenda but feel the board of the RST sometimes treat the membership in much the same way as SDM treats the Rangers support as a whole.
