Fleck has knuckled down, started preseason early and still can't get a start, and remember Ferguson coming through, youths at rangers will have to work their socks off to get in the first 11 and stay there and still not be enough. Maybe in the long term that will be a good thing. They now know they'll get a chance at some point in the upcoming season, we only have 14 senior players including fleck, its up to them to grab it. Smiths preference went on to win the World Cup, European Cup etc I think you missed a bit out there. Advocaat asked gattuso to play in a different position for rangers. gattuso didn`t want to.he went. then he won the world cup , european cup playing in the position advocaat wanted him to play in. smith was actually playing him in not his best position. I've only seen them both play at the WC and they both seem pretty good. Both scored against France, Mphela has a very good goalscoring record for both club and country. Khumalo is a solid defender and both have been attracting interest from the EPL Here's the goals from the France game....big guy comes steaming in like a train for the first one. I think the CL needs to get the champions of the top 12 leagues in first and foremost, then look at runners up. The fact the likes of Liverpool are in year in year out when they havent even won their domestic league in 20 years makes a mockery of those that do. The CL is getting dull because it is the same faces year in year out, and no-one outside the top 4 countries has a chance of winning it these days.

Speaking from experience, its a very lonely existance. You are there with no family, no friends other than those forced upon you by work, and even though home is only 3 or 4 hours away, it might as well be 30. What is Rangers class ?. Hard to define but he is well below our standards when you look at the pedigree of some of our greatest midfield players. Namouchi is Motherwell , Aberdeen or Hibs class at best IMO. Caniggia and Ravanelli played for Dundee. Does that mean they are Dundee Class?
