  1. why dont you get yourself one? thats 4 or 5 times this season its been loud and proud and what media outlet has come out and criticised? our own fans are worse at times than any tarier How very intelligent of you. Obviously this song means more to you than the club or you wouldnt put singing it before the club. Personally I'd rather not take the chance whether anything has happened so far or not.
  2. Sorry but I don't see what's so brilliant about this. What good does singing this do our club apart from give the mhedia yet more ammunition to drag our good club through the mud again? Some people need a reality check.
  3. That's what i'm slightly worried about. I can envisage a "Big Jock Knew" or "Why Don't You Go Home" type comment. I hope i'm wrong, as this is viewed by millions of people across the UK. why??? The only people who give 2 fucks about what we sing, are bheasts, and, mopes. End of story! Nobody down here knows anything about it, apart from the fact we sing god save the queen, rule britannia, and, have a great support. I see the glasgow "sectarian" centre of the universe bubble still exists.... You're wrong mate. Been seeing a girl from Manchester who has since started supporting the Gers. Her mum is a catholic and told her that she can't support Rangers because of her religion. I pointed out to her that my best mate was raised a catholic and is a gers season ticket holder.
  4. I don't believe for a second that Smith is looking for a way out. For all his faults, he is the most dignified man in British football and has more integrity than to try and engineer himself an exit from the club. Too many people forget what this club means to Smith.
  5. Not a Chelsea fan but was good to hear n see them do the bouncy!
  6. im making the dinner 2nyte u coming up for it?

  7. The worrying thing is that I can't see those four scoring that many. Probably not, not individually at least. He is the spearhead of our attack when he plays, I don't think anyone can doubt that. I'd be interested to see how Lafferty/Naismith reacted to being given that role and that trust. Again, not saying that he ONLY SCORES PENALTIES before someone else accuses me of, but they make up between 5-8 goals per season for him as well, so if another striker was given the responsibility, who knows. I'd also like to see how the team reacted to not having a recognised goalscorer in the line up. You'll probably find out on Tuesday. We've seen it before with all our European games under Smith. I don't know if I'm looking for a reason to get Boyd out, but I think of 2-0 Bremen at home, 2-0 away to Sporting, 3-0 away to Lyon, 0-0 at home to Barca, even the 4-2 away to the scum. Guess the common denominator? True but then he also didn't feature in any of the European games that we got humped in therefore it's a moot point. Having said that I think we've looked better this season when we've been 4-3-3 or 4-5-1 whatever you wanna call it .... and that obviously means no place for Boyd.

  9. I seem to recall people saying similar things about Ferguson. Ferguson doesn't give you 30 goals a season. How many times has Boyd scored 30 goals in one season? once? Looks like you were right Ian.

  11. Boyd definitely has his faults, we all know that, but IMO certain fans on here will only appreciate him when he's gone. Sure he might score goals like a scrappy tap in against St Johnstone but what other striker do we have currently with the same predatory insincts? At least Boyd was in the position to score. You will all be very sorry if and when he does leave.
  12. haha pure freak!!!

  13. Correct and if he can reach 20 goals then he'll be doing well.
  14. I find your petty wee agenda against anything I say pretty sad. I feel no need to apologise for anything. Have you asked for an apology from any of the other two lads who said the same thing? No but no one else made a smug and unjustified comment. I was jumping the gun Gid, I apologise for that, if that's what you mean. I just thought we were going to have another Lafferty/Boyd debate and it was the last thing we needed. I certainly didn't claim that you were being heavily biased towards either player though. Thank you. For the record I would like to see Lafferty get a decent run up top. It just pisses me off when the same people who dismiss Boyd at every opportunity (and I'm not saying you're one of them) are even quicker at praising Lafferty who is unproven IMO.

  16. I will take your avoidance of the question as an admission that you were wrong. It takes a big man to admit when they are wrong mind.
  17. As per, eh? Quite sad really! Is it indeed? So Lafferty has proved himself at Rangers has he Iain? He's got the potential, and has rescued points for us with some lovely composed finishes. Chuck Boyd out on the left wing and see how he does! I agree that Laffer hasn't been amazing for us, I'm just a bit concerned at how willingly people are to constantly point out the negatives and ignore the positives with the lad. But you don't seem too concerned with those who concentrate on the negatives of Boyd. And all I said is Lafferty is unproven. Please highlight where I said anything negative about Lafferty. No no, I totally agree that he's mostly unproven. He's proved to me (at least) that he can finish under pressure, perform in bigger games and can be that physical presence up front that we need. What he hasn't proven is that he can do it consistently, nor has he proven that he can avoid injury/illness for more than three weeks at a time. Every Lafferty thread in the last ten weeks has ended up as a 'Boyd or Lafferty' debate, even threads with no relation, and they all started with people just focussing on what Lafferty hasn't done, as opposed to what he has done. Ok so you're admitting that your previous smug little dig had absolutely no value and was unjustified as it was based on previous threads and not this one? You still haven't told me when I said something negative about Lafferty. I never said that you did say anything negative about Lafferty, did I? I just said that people tend to focus on the negatives instead of the positives with him, for reasons unknown to me. And there's hee haw wrong with pointing out that every Lafferty thread of this ilk has ended up with a Lafferty v Boyd debate. You agreed with a post which said this thread had turned into a "slag Lafferty" one and you said "it's sad". I'm still waiting on you justifying it by telling me when I slagged off Lafferty and if you're admitting I didn't slag him then are you gonna apologise for your snidey remark?
