If 3 are tied up this week, they won't be loans. i suspect that the 3 are krancjar, a goalie(surely not release bell unless he had someone waiting in wings) and mariappa. My gut is that he sees Mariappa as CB and RB cover. I hope to god his striking option is not vaughn. firstly, he talked balance between youth and experience- with signing niko, Joey, hill and possibly mariappa, then adding someone like vaughn, our squad would well and truly be skewed to experience Imo secondly, I maintain that King has to make a statement and splash out on a fee. Not crazy money but perhaps a million pound player- this will be a show of enormous faith that he will do what it takes. Thirdly, King talked European quality- vaughn is anything but that

I always thought window didn't open until 1/7? if that's the case, with Warbs proclaiming he wants his signings in before pre season, can we assume we will not be looking at paying transfer fees?

We all know we need a striker, centre half, goalkeeper and cover for flanks. it could be argued we also need a quality attacking mid im not one for reliance on loans and would hate to see us caught cold with little options when this is clearly the most important season in our history

Warbs says 2 or 3 more signings. His track record suggests he is true to his word. Anyone surprised by this? We have just lost at minimum 3 players with another 2 loans returning. We have signed 4, meaning our squad would be 2 bodies more than last season assuming players don't leave. given we need a striker, a CB, a GK and cover for fullbacks is Warbs at risk of running short? or do we expect loans to augment this?

Doubtful he would be on leave. Best guess is he is wheeling and dealing to get a few more in the door over next week or two. either that, or he's letting dust settle on cup final and will come out with some damning statement

It can work so long as you have quality on the bench. If not for cup ties, we would have had two quality players in King and MOH on the bench. in reality, rather than a bigger squad, we need better quality

You shouldn't, it's a step up in quality. Halliday will still have his part to play and given his age, will learn so much from Barton

Elf, we expecting a significant overall at youth level, I.e will warbs make his mark by bringing in a number of youth?

A youth team player said something on Twitter wishing all the players released good luck. someone else on Twitter mentioned a clean out too. Be interesting to see if any others on loan are released like Ramsey, aird etc

With league won, does anyone think we will see some youngsters get a run in the remaining championship games? i think I saw warbs talk of targeting a certain number of league points so could that mean he sticks with tried and tested? i personally want to see him give two or 3 youngsters some game time, perhaps the likes of burt, Lyon, Roberts or McLeod?

Hard to judge, but I think the following will augment the squad next season: hardie- after an offseason of weights regime Ross McCrorie Thompson Walsh the remaining I expect will not form part of managers plans

King has been ok, hasn't been a standout in my book. i truly believe we need to aim that little higher with our transfers for next season and going for players who will be first teamers King is only a squad player as it is now, and we need players next year who are BETTER than our current starters imo

It certainly won't be 4, we will lose likely 5-6 so he will need to bring in at least that many, and likely one or two more to account for higher league. IF we managed to get into Europe, I won't be surprised if it's closer to 7-8
