  1. some of the passing has been awful, not enough footballers out there. We cant play guys with such little technical ability and expect to play good football. Broadfoot, papac, mcculloch, adam, novo all cant pass the ball straight.
  2. nah no way, out of our league i would think
  3. http://www.newsoftheworld.co.uk/2312_micah.shtml Heres the article lads, you have to laugh really the article calls him a "wild animal...grinning broadly with debauched pleasure". Personally i think its a bit OTT, but hey.
  4. Nice to see we have a wee bit of compassion in us lads , you can see he has worked extremely hard to get to rangers, and has sacrificed more than some of the wasters we have at the mo, don't kick a man when he's down
  5. still think he could have done a job for us, for me thomson and clement are the same sort of player and IMO will both turn out to be pretty good in the future, still cant believe clement wanted to leave us, its his own fault for not realising the stature of club that is rangers and don't think he's gonna be seein the champions league again for a long while. in regards to the article in fairness to the lad he does give us credit where its due and isnt too one sided towards the french, not really fair of us to expect him to think we are favourites to go thru.
  6. yeh pretty sure he was on trial but i think its safe to say he's a better player now than 3 years ago, whatever your thoughts on his future
  7. The boy stewart's had not a bad game for hearts, reminds me a bit of, dare i say it, scott brown. Could his tenacity be useful in a possible gers midfield??
  8. I can believe that throughout this no-one has actually mentioned the following argument. I for one wanted celtic to go through last night, and no im not a tim. I didnt do it for my uncle, not for the co-efficient, but i did it so that scotland as a nation could get some positive recognition throughout europe and prove we're not some diddy league. And before celtics scottishness is disputed, it doesnt matter how we see them, its how the rest of europe see them. and that is from scotland. Not only that but it's so satisfying to see the smug pundits on Sky be forced to talk about scottish teams and how well they are doing in Europe sometimes when there teams are failing, even if its just we win in a night where they lose. This is the reason i want both rangers, celtic and also every scottish team to do well in Europe. I put club loyalties aside and want recognition for Scotland!
  9. It seems so, a bit gutting since we are the best in pot 4, only just missing out.
  10. I think you'll find he won't be as big a miss as you think. If you set a player a task to break down opponents attacks and then give the ball to another gers player and ONLY this, which to be fair is all he does, i think you'll find most decent defensive mids can do a job like this, and if they can actually tackle one on one with the attacker, he will have one on hemdani. Did the job we asked, which was to stabilize the midfield and protect our dodgy defence. Now we're in a better shape we don't need him so much. I for one would prefer 1 mil to him rotting in the reserves.
  11. I for one am pretty damn happy hemdani's been dropped for these games. It simply is just a waste of a potential player who can come on and actually create something. I would go as far to say that hemdani should be dropped for all games in the SPL. The only reason i would think to play him is the tough away ties in Europe, and i emphasise tough btw. Even against the tic i think a central partnership of barry and thomson can set about their midfield no problems. Its fair to say i would bit derby's hand off if they offered anything over 1 mil for him. The thing is though i don't think we can afford to get rid of hemdani and not bring in another guy who could do his job against tough european competition. A certain Julien Brellier springs to mind but afraid its a bit late. Any other suggestions
  12. The thing about a scoreline like that, yes even 7-2 is that without seeing the game it is still difficult to know actually how good we played. Obviously fantastic result but i for one am not going to get too carried away. That said doesnt mean im not going to stick it to the timmys
  13. Someone say it, get it over with, "The leagues wrapped up" i wonder how long it will take
  14. I have to say i dont like any of them, and not just to cause a stir for the original poster, i honestly think that barry ferguson and kevin thomson are too alike, and when played in the same team there is no drive in the midfield, no urgency. So much so that sometimes i think they break down our own counter-attacks. They both like time to pick a nice wee pass sideways and let the opposite team get millions of time to get two banks of four in front of us, which we are incapable of breaking down due to lack of quality. For me, who would prefer to play 4-4-2, you could either play ferguson OR thomson as one of the two central midfielders. As for brahim, although i think he is a class act, against SPL opposition, he just doesnt fit into the team, we do not need a player who sits in front of the back four, protecting the defence. I seen on this site someone say that in a 4-4-2 we need a midfield general who will pick out passes and boss the game AND a box to box midfield who will get the ball and immediately push the whole team forward, lead counter attacks against the opposition, and just generally attack when he gets the ball. Now i think we have the general in ferguson and the protegee in thomson, but they cant fill those two roles, we need a box to box midfielder who will create some chances for a change, and until we get this, we will be this boring team who struggle to create chances let alone win football matches.
  15. hope not he is a waster, had a good spell at anderlecht but thats it really. hasnt really impressed me at man city.
  16. Tell me a single striker who has developed skills he didn't have after the age of 24. Most strikers get better I agree but not because they develop control, the ability to pass, the ability to win the ball in the air, 24 is too late. Players who improve after 24 improve their understanding of the game not their techniocal skills. I'll tell you one, and btw ive not even had to think very hard. Dado Prso never broke into the Monaco team until he was 27/28, before that he wasn't very good...
  17. Scarily i pretty much agree with DADO KERRZO, exactly. Well done dado
  18. i was a sony man through and through but got a 360 because the PS3 was delayed. Its a cracking console and you should have no problems getting used to the controller. Honestly i would be buying the 360 just because of Gears of War as its exclusive to the 360. IMO the best game out hands down.
  19. I gotta say yes, anything that could get us in the premiership is a big yes

  21. Boyd and hemdani arent going to produce moments of magic, get the crowd on their feet or dare i say it, actually entertain.
