  1. I fancy that we will be more up for the fight the next time we play Celtic if not quite having the quality. I will be more confident that we can shut them out now that I would ever have been had PLG stayed... Ugo and Weir are better equipped to nullify the threat of that vinegar bloke but like alot of people I worry about our lack of pace... My heart would have me believe we can sneak a 1-0 win next time we play them... as you point out my head would probably say 0-0 or a 1-0 loss is more likely. Howeve ever that is progress, under PLG I seriously would not have been surprised if we had been on the end of a right tanking, that defence was capable of leaking 4 or more goals in a game
  2. Did we not beat Dunfermline 1-0.... any thats being pedantic... I agree that there really has been no discernible turnround in our performance... we were up and down under PLG as well... However there would appear to be a better atmosphere around the club wouldn't you say? Time alone will tell McLeish's comments today shed a little more light on things and makes you wonder ... if only for a second... if he was not hard done by????
  3. Apparently we are on the brink of signing an 18 year old Danish striker... anyone ever heard of this guy? Adda Djeziri???
  4. From the Herald Website: "Stanger was signed on a one-year deal from French club Rennes in the summer by Le Guen. Makhtar N'Diaye and Antoine Ponroy will also be allowed to leave." Looks like Le Guen's recruits are being purged, after Sionko's comments in the Czech Papers he could on his way as well.... Effectively we have completely wasted a year... I think that although le Guen made errors the basic premise was right. He wsa building for the future and just because he has gone doens't mean we should abandon that philosophy... if the lads he brought in (Stanger, Ponroy and N'Diaye) are talented, then why not keep them
  5. Just so I am clear... Murray has taken Rangers to a new low by offering 750k for a player whom you happen to think is utter pesh? Would it be safe to assume then that Murray could have prevented taking us to this new low by offering 1.5 million for a player who you think is pesh? Fish, I have read many of your arguments about "the sly one" both here and previously on the BBC forum. Many of your points can be viewed as extreme but they are often well formulated and offer good input to the debate over the value of Murray to Rangers. You certainly provide contrast to the supporters who blindly believe everything Murray says. However, stating that Murray has taken us to a new low by offering too little for a crap player is, by anyones measure, a convoluted criticism
  6. If he wants to take Sebo, Svensson, Sionko, Papac, Stanger, Ponroy and any other baggage that he brought with him he is welcome to Clement at a knock down rate
  7. Sebo, Papac, Svensson, Sionko, .... do you think he will take any of them to PSG??? More likely he will take Clement and leave us with the dross
