  1. Surely we have a police office or lawyer amongst the members on here, they must be able to clarify the legal standing of searches etc at the stadium.
  2. Hold off on any laptop until Windows 8 is out, which should be soon, when that happens you will pick up a Win7 based laptop very cheap
  3. #thisisfun is a great hash tag that has, as Darche said, came from WATPPodcast. It is something that highlights how we, as a support, are actually enjoying the SFL and our journey back to the top tier and we are not moping about, in a depression about sinking to the bottom tier. Also, it gets right up the noses of the SPL fans, for that alone it's worthwhile.
  4. The Dalek thing, I get the reference but I've never heard it before until now. The 'wasp' thing ... What is that? I've not heard that either.
  5. Wow, 3 pages in and my first 'are you sure you're not a Tim?' reply. Btw, the answer is YES, I'm sure I'm not a Tim. I can totally understand everyone's point of view and I'm glad most can see where I was coming from, even though you don't agree ... that's what debate is about. I suppose you could say he saying things like that to drum up potential investors and, yes, the press report could easily be written in a different context from the way the cme t was delivered, however I still find the idea of gloating Or celebrating this while it still affects small local business' a bit seedy and beneath us, as another said, a little humility goes a long way.
  6. I think that if the club had slowly reduced the debt to Zero through prudent financial management then it would certainly be something to shout about (similar in the way the Scum board shout about reducing their bank debt) but to gloat about it, knowing that to get here the club did not pay it's creditors and left many of them thousands of pounds out of pocket ... morally, it's not right. Of course, this was a situation not created by CG and he is performing admirably in the PR stakes but this is one where, I believe, he should tone the rhetoric down and be more humble towards those who suffered and, most likey, are still suffering, albeit at the hands of others.

  8. This statement irks me !! While it is great that, as a club, we have no debts etc but is it really something we should be gloating about, considering how that situation came about i.e. Admin Yes, I understand the debt lies with the previous company but to those who suffered under our Administration i.e. suppliers (local & national), they look at us playing in the same stadium etc and benefiting from Admin while they had to suffer the losses, some of which, I'm sure, could ill afford. I am not advocating we repay all our debts from under Admin, even though we are settling our football debts (while the OldCo receives all the monies outsanding to us), that is the way of the world in business. It's a great situation to be in but to "crow" about it .... it just doesn't sit right with me.
  9. Just remember what YOU think of as a massive slight against the club, others would easily dismiss as small dig and not worth getting into. I believe that the media team have done a sterling job of defending the club against scurrilous rumour and innuendO, look at how @rfc_dickson (Andrew) consistently stated the club and it's history still remained, he led that charge via social media (twitter), btw, that's also the guy who doesn't work in the ticket office but constantly gets asked questions about tickets. CG himself has been very outspoken against Rangers detractors, he has defended this club in a much more public manner, far more than either CW or SDM ever did. In my view, the club has been far more proactive in defending the clubs image and dispelling scurrilous rumours but they still have to pick thier battles as we cannot howl at the moon for every slight as people will eventually stop listening.
  10. My link froze just at the first goal, now selected link 2 and it's movIng fine now.
  11. We are certainly keeping the ball on the deck this time. I thought with McCulloch up top it might be more punts up the park, looking for Little to pick up the pieces. Note - holy fuck, that was close for Falkirk.
  12. I was looking again this morning and I caught sight of the chip embedded into the card. I though the chip would be visible so I was confused as to how it worked without one ...
  13. Got mine today, obviously I know that you hold it up to the scanners and it activates the gate but HOW does it work. I expected to see a chip or something similar embedded in the card but it's just a card, so how does it actually work ??
  14. You have likely disabled the mouse pad somehow, get a mouse and plug it in. You can fix it in control panel or go to the system tray (bottom right of the screen) and you should see a sysmbol that looks like your touchpad, click that and reset it there.
  15. Now if you could spell 'unacceptable' that would make this thread more acceptable. Or, if you made your post in one of the 20 threads that are along the same theme rather than make another one, that would be even more acceptable.
  16. lol Ahh well, a serious topic was worth a try. "blame Canada, blame Canada !!!!"
  17. I have to agree, what the fuck are our support thinking, that because we are in England, TV cameras won't pick up our singing of this stupid song that will come back and bite us on the arse. If we are allowed to criticise the team for a piss poor performance, then ws are also allowed to criticise the support for some awful decision making too.
  18. It appears that Ally is taking the brunt of the blame for our dismal performance today but is it fair ?? On the one hand, you could examine our away perfomances up to now and even look into our performances last season also, some would say that Malmo, Maribor & even Falkirk were a sign of tactical naivety by Ally. We had a 15 point lead with 2 games in hand and managed to slowly throw it away with some dismal displays. Is today just a continued symptom of a wider malaise that began when Ally took over. Of course, the other argument is that during last season, from Feb 14 onwards the club and it's coaching/playing staff had bigger things on its mind, worrying about thier jobs and careers and the football was affected because of that. Now we are trying to bed in a team that hasn't played together for long, trying to blend youth and experience, foreign & domestic and all thus without so much as a pre-season game to familiarise. We are, even now, still bleeding experienced players, without suitable replacements. So, what is to blame, is it the managers fault for his lack tactical nous or have circumstances overtaken our team and they need time to blend or is it just a combination of both making a horrible situation seem worse ??
  19. I do hope I'm wrong too but I don't think I will be. He will be in the high wage bracket, in comparison to what our average wage is now, and hisxwage might pay for 2/3 others.
  20. I fully expect Wallace to leave, the guy cherishes his Scotland career and he is also one of our top earners. I'd be amazed if he DIDN'T leave.
  21. BR3, row F ... looking toward to the next game
  22. Im also in BR3 and i think its a cracking view.
  23. There is seriously not one bear who stays in Paisley or close by that could pick a fellow fan up, then drop him off. The airport is literally 5 minutes away (once you get on the motorway) If I stayed close I wouldn't have a problem but I don't.
  24. I think that having Sandaza up top, his close control allows him to bring others into the game i.e. Shields, Little, McKay et al who can all play off him. Sandaza has great mobility and once his fitness & match sharpness comes up to speed he will be a prolific scorer.
