If we play 4-4-2 in the spl or a 4-3-3 not a 4-5-1 then we MUST keep boyd. He guaranees us 30 goals a season more or less. Im the first to admit that boyd isnt a worker, has a poor first touch, cant head, and with his back to goal gets put on his arse in an embarasing heap more often than not. But he is an expert finisher. People want him too run down the channels and hold up the ball etc... But if he does this then that takes him out the box where he wouldnt be able to get on the end of chances. So its either one or the other imo. Thats why lafferty or miller should partner him or be the lone striker in the champions league. With novo and naismith coming on too add pace and freshness. Altho i'd like to see a good quality european standard striker in if possible. Although a centre back is more of a priority and then a REAL left midfielder

After reading most of these posts Im starting to wonder if we will just be limited to loan deals or 500k spl players. Is this just pessimism or is this the reality?? Also Ive been quite dissappointed at the lack of activity on this front, there are a few great bargains out there to be had if we acted fast enough. Do you think we are missing a trick on this or do you think Walter and Ally will have something up their sleeve? A few premiership loans would be ideal for us maybe people like Nathan Delfouneso Keiran Gibbs Danny Rose ( I like him alot he's electric with lots of trickery and plays left wing, exactly what we need) Just a few suggestions im sure there will be plenty more added.
