Not just Halliday, but Holt as well. PS I think Halliday has the potential to be a future Scotland captain if Scotland got a decent manager in who had some balls to do things his way instead of sucking up to the SFA.

We just beat a team who were unbeaten in their previous 5 matches prior to us, a team who until tonight I believe have scored in all of their previous matches, there were some pretty good performances tonight, we kept a clean sheet and now we've won two games in a row in the league. End of the day the win was the most important thing as this helps to build the teams confidence and there were definite flashes of what we are capable of doing being showed tonight.

Fuck off, there is no way I will sell my ticket to a fellow bear for more than what I was charged if I can't make the game. It is also disgusting that someone would try to profit from another bear.

That really bugs me, and in no way would I want to grass on a fellow bear, but I wonder if this is actually legal or is it a form of ticket touting?

Thought all of this had been covered in the other thread about it, maybe you should consult that thread first to get the full story instead of believing this rag and coming out with your own sensationalist thread line.

Quite normal for that to happen, a suspension could be extended because further evidence could be requested, the defendant may not have provided requested information, the legal aspects could be a bit more complicated because of contracts, though is does seem quite unusual that he isn't even allowed to train at the training ground even if he isn't allowed back with the first team. I personally think (and purely my own viewpoint) is that there has been complications to this particular disciplinary case because of the allegations made against Barton regarding the betting he has done.

You really don't understand how legal procedures work do you? Even if you're in a normal paid job any form of legal proceeding for disciplinary reasons can take months.

Problem I see is that there is no evidence that Halliday actually did anything wrong and by what little we know Barton was the aggressor in the whole incident(s) if that is the case why should Halliday or any other player apart from Barton be punished. Also it wasn't necessary the incident with Halliday which might have led to the suspension but Barton's attitude towards the manager afterwards, him going to the press etc which has caused the added difficulties.

I wonder how many other posts there are in this whole thread blaming the board, the board will need to discuss any issues with the legal team and then possibly sit down with Barton and his representatives to find an amicable solution to the problem, if the board just decide to sack Barton with no concrete legal reason for doing so then they and club would end up getting dragged through the courts which could end up costing a lot more than any pay off might.

If there are legal issues that need to be considered by both parties, then neither party should be saying anything simple as that.

You can choose not to have your ticket sent by Special Delivery, it's done that way to ensure that you get your ticket as you can't get a duplicate if it gets lost in the post, as for ticketing prices for the semi and final that ain't done by the club. They should try and put all tickets that are going to the same address in one envelope even though when you're trying to go through over 20K tickets it's actually quite hard.

If it's for one adult ticket then the £1 charge will have been included and the ticket will be a £25 ticket which is either West Stand or North Stand area, The special delivery charge will come out when the ticket itself is issued I believe. Tickets are priced as follows: West Stand – £25 Adults / £10 Under 16s North Stand – £25 Adults South Lower – Adults £30 South Upper – Adults £30 / £35 Ambulant Disabled / Visually Impaired – Adults £20 / £15 under 16s £5 Wheelchair & PA – Adults £15 / £5 Under 16s

Maybe he was fucking boiling an egg! Who knows if it's the training or not, if it was the training then why aren't the rest of the squad out injured they all do basically the same training. Anything can happen during training sessions as can happen during an actual football match such as banging into another player and coming off worse, slipping and twisting ankle, spraining groin etc. It doesn't mean that they have a long history of problems and it doesn't mean that the training regime is wrong, it could just be bad luck on the day.
