Just got home from the match, don't know why Garner had been getting abuse in this thread as a target man he was superb and did everything he could to bring other players into the game, some of the tackles against him we should have got free kicks for, if the ref could use consistency which the fucker couldn't. A great fighting spirit from the team and a brilliant atmosphere from the fans. Sorry but that ref was fucking honking and I'm still angry at some of the decision he made.

My thoughts exactly, though we need to change formation. I actually think with two up top a partnership of Dodoo and Garner could become very effective and have a good few years with it. I can understand what MW is trying to do with the style of football etc, but it just ain't working week in week out in Scottish Football to me it is starting to look a PLG situation all over again, we could possibly play pretty well in European competitions but it just isn't as effective in our league.

Just heard today that Cooper's Bar in Wishaw is being taken over by a new father and son team. Apparently their first order was to have all of the Rangers pics etc taken down The final day of service as it stands is this Sunday and then it will be closed until further notice.

Bollocks, I've seen us play turgid football when Walter was in charge and only just winning by a last minute goal etc, but you didn't see this sort of thread when he did it. MW is trying to build a footballing philosophy at our club from our youngest players all the way through to the first team, this doesn't happen over night and people have to realise that. As I said in the official thread I found some of our play depressing and it was only when we picked up the pace did we show what we can and should be doing every week but to start threads like these all the time is a load of shite and very narrow minded, reactionary and impatient of too many people.

If we had won 6-0 and every player played amazingly well we would have probably seen this sort of thread starting.

I felt we got a win that we deserved as once again we were denied a clear cut penalty which could have had a major impact well before Partick scored, in fact we possibly had shouts for two penalties though a foul was given against us for the first one. It is really depressing when we play at a slow pace because when we do pass the ball around quicker we are a lot better and as shown with our win a lot more dangerous. Well done to Dodoo he scored 2 very good goals.

The very few times we actually upped the pace we had some chances unfortunately I think that was only 2 or 3 times. Far too pedestrian by us I really thought we played too slow.

With Windass and Forrester starting I can see a lot more direct attacking and attempts at goal. Easily see Thistle sitting with all the players behind the ball so hopefully we will get an early goal this time to force them to come out a bit more.
