Wish we would get away from the myth that PLG did not get money to spend. He was offered £10m by Murray but due to his arrogance and misunderstanding of the SPL he thought he could win the league by only spending c. £4m on what proved to be the wrong type of players. Remember when it came to the PLG/Ferguson battle Murray was willing to support PLG but he could not give Murray any assurance that after Ferguson went he could turn the team around, also did not think he needed to change the team at the Jan transfer wnidow. That convinced Murray that PLG had to be allowed to walk. Can't name my source, but apparently Le Guen tried to play with 9 men and no goalkeeper in one game because he thought we'd win easily and Murray only got him to back down at the last minute. Glad to see him (a youngster) get his chance in the Rangers team. Hopefully that's his injury problems behind him now and can look towards a bright future I'm sure he has played in that position before, the season (Sure it was the year we last won the league) where we went up to Pittodrie to play Inverness, he was on the bench that day and Big Eck brought him on wide left and he set up the goal for Dado.
