  1. I really hope it isnt. I dont no which way its going to go. Manny is defo the favourite but we havnt seen him be hit by a natural welterweight, DLH hardly hit him. I think hatton can finish manny, im just not sure if he can get close to him. Hatton will have to be on top form to win. Pac will destroy Hatton! Don't be fooled by Ricky's performance against Malinaggi! PM was pish and a perfect fighter for RH to fight! Had absolutely no power to keep Ricky honest and not quick enough to keep a distance! Pac on the other hand is a whole different kettle of fish! Among the fastest hands in the business, he will obliterate Hatton whenever he steps in range, before Ricky tries his predictable 'hit and hold' that he has made a career of......difference is, Pac movement is just to good for Hatton to be able to maul. I think it will be Pac DLH all over again! Despite Oscar being shot, I would still fancy him to beat Hatton today; as I dont rate Hatton all that much. Hatton's career best result still remains a win over a shot, ring rusty Kostya Tzsyua, who was only over for one last payday; and even then Ricky was overly dependent on his personal in house ref, Dave Parris bending the rules to allow him to do what he wanted. When KT didnt come out of the last round, I had Hatton 2 up, so even then, the KT fight was very close. Hatton has never beaten a prime, 'elite' boxer, and the only one he fought destroyed him! I see the Pac fight going the same way! i agree that PM was pish but you have given no credit whatsoever as to how good hattom was - he never let PM begin to box! also yes hatton has never been an elite boxer BUT he has a brawling attitude and a determination that i dont think pacman will have ever come across before. my heart says hatton but my head says pacman Determination............. Brawling attitude......... You never heard of Morales and Barrera? While El Terible did beat Manny once, he was later beaten badly. Barrera never fared too well either! I would say that these 2 mexicans (although slightly past their primes, and battleworn) offer more of a challenge than Hatton! Hatton's only chance is if Manny has more legal difficulties and takes his eye of the ball, or if takes Hatton too lightly; as afterall, this fight is merely a tune up to Pacman v Mayweather - although Manny is getting well paid for this!

  3. Oh! Controversial indeed! I did not know that; wonder if he did that against Cotto?
  4. Over - fucking awesome Shane! next stop drug test again me thinks!
  5. Margo down! It's all over soon!
  6. Shane has destroyed him after 7 - did not see this happening! Note to Hatton fans - this is being reffed the same as PBF - Hatton - refs in the US do not let wrestling happen!
  7. Fucking brilliant so far! 'mon the Shane , balco cheat in the past, but after 3 so fucking fast!
  8. Why you even bothered by that pish? There is more to life than some boy like that! Shouldn't even be in the den he's so irrelevent! Jesus wept And the point of your post was? [too many knobs on here these days, loyal]
  9. The fact that Lee was playing from the start....................... nah, I see no reason for it....... must have been the shop window, otherwise (a-cant think of any otherwise).

  11. Cant see Hatton having much of a chance in this one! IMO he is extremely over-rated and only has one top scalp to his name (an old, semi retired, shoulder problem KT) and even then, he definately got him at the right time, with more than a bit of help from his favourite ref - Dave Parris. I disagree when people say Hatton is an exciting fighter, as all he has done the past 5 years is hit then grab, hit then grab etc, which is not allowed, and I find ruins a fight! The fight against pacman could well be disastrous for RH as pac's hands are far too quick on the inside, and his footwork is top notch! Ricky would struggle to catch up, and when he did he would have to hold, as pac is far too fast for hatton to open up - his face would be in tatters! The best possible fight I reckon would be Floyd v Pac - which I fancy will happen some time soon! That would be a real boxing exhibition; not the wrestling that Hatton dishes up! I stand by my point that in no way does Hatton deserve 50/50 with the number 1 pound for pound! He has done nothing to warrant it, and would be lucky to be in the top 8 pfp! tbf mayweather does his fair share of holding as he proved with the hatton fight. That was generally because Hatton was so close. Floyd generally will hold when someone gets up close to him - but most opponents try to box their way close - Fatton just chucks one shite punch then grabs to try to do what Parris let him do KT - only problem is that it what happened in the Kostya fight is illegal in every boxing ring other than Dave Parris' when Hatton was fighting! Floyd has tremendous footwork, and in general was able to counter hatton all night - the left hook that sent Ricky reeling into the turnbuckle had been getting honed all night - he tried it from about round 2 onwards. Floyd only tied up when Hatton stormed in trying to smother the fight by putting his left arm around Floyd's neck - which happened all night! That is one of the many frustrating dellusions that Hatton has - remember he said his fight with a shot JLC was 'more exciting that PBF's whole career' - Eh, no it was Richard, you just hug, hold and wrestle - Floyd is a bona fide boxer that has put on many a masterclass in boxing; such as the time when he thoroughly schooled you on all aspects of boxing : fighting on the outside, the inside, counter punching, fighting on the back foot and fighting on the front foot! Why Hatton wants to fight Floyd again is beyond me, has he seen the replay - Floyd picked him apart in every sense of the word! Floyd v Judah was 100% more competitive that Floyd v Ricky!
  12. I heard that Arum aint going to meet him till after the Margo Mosley fight tomorrow, so not too sure I believe that yet - though hope it is true! Anyroads, I'm not sure what Wicky's problem is with th 60/40? I thought he was 'a man of the people' - why would an extra 10% matter to such a Robin Hood type character? If the fight happens, Pac will ruin him!

  14. BAws! On what grounds does Hatton deserve 50/50! Just because he brings thousands of neds with him? Pac is the man at the moment, with Ricky wanting to challenge him! In no sport, particularly boxing, does 'the top dog' take parity with a lesser opponent! It is like Richard Dunne of Man City wanting parity with Robinho, on the basis that the fans prefer him! Ricky should be happy with the 60/40, which I feel is more than reasonable! This appears to be another case of Ricky 'I talk about myself in the third person' Hatton dellusion! He has in no way done anything in his career to warrant 50/50 with Pac! I really do despise how much of a wanker Hatton has become! His 'I'm fighting in Vagas cos it's cheaper for my fans to get to' bullshit is pathetic.....why you in the US Rick as opposed to MEN - because you get paid more loolah! Dont try to spin it as you helping out your fans! Utte, utter cunt!
  15. Heard a few rumours that Herbie Hide could be the late replacement against Enzo MacMoobs! Would be a real barnstormer, but seems a bit risky for fwank chucking mantits in with another hitter! A ko loss to a 37 year old last minute replacement would ruin mantits!
  16. exactly he is always in shape for his fights :unionflag: True mate, but i read a recent interview with Mayweather Snr and he seemed absolutely disgusted with Hatton's "laddish" activities when he isnt in the ring. He told him that it has to stop completely, or he's out. To be honest, i think all the drinking and fry up's has curtailed his career somewhat. I can't help but think that Hatton would be in a better position than he is in the current day if he got shot of Graham just that bit earlier. No doubt about it mate, you could argue he should have left after the Kostya Tzsu fight, his performances have been a mixed bag since then. He is still a 2 weight world champion with his only loss being to the 1 of the greatest of all time so it is a good record. He is with the right trainer now so I do hope he wins this 1 and gets a shot at manny. That would be a fitting way to end his career. 2 of his last 4 fights being against arguably 2 of the best P4P boxers in the world. At least no1 can acuse the Hitman of ducking anyone. To be fair, a dont think he has fought that many big fights. His 2 big fights have been Tsyzu and Mayweather. Would have said Castillo aswell but he was a blown up featherweight/lightweight who was well past his best. A still think Ricky will have too much for Paulie tho!!! Would love to see him fight PacMan! Ricky was unlucky in the size he was, the division has never been blessed with as much talent as the ones jsut above or below so he could only beat what was there. He didn't have the build to move up a weight properly as his performances showed. There is no way he could move down a weight with his lifestyle in between fights either A victim of circumstance! Bollocks. He was in LWW at the same time as Floyd, Cotto, Judah, Gatti (pre shot), Tszyu (pre shot) in the world classers (yes he fought KT, but it was a KT that had fought 3 rounds in 3 years, and his shoulder was clinically fucked). In the UK, he avoided Junior Witter for his full career, despite being called out by JW at every opportunity! Witter may well have done him, as he is far too slick for a wrestler like hatton. To say he doesnt have the build to move up a weight is bollocks. Floyd started at Super Feather, and is around the same size! The problem is he went to Welter and fought 'live' fighters - Collazo and Floyd. Both outclassed him, as he actually stepped up a level in competition as well as the weight. Prior to that, and outwith shot fighters, every fighter on Ricky's resume is a 'tomato can,' hand picked by Frank Warren (as FW knew RH wasn't gonna make the top grade). Dont believe the Hatton hype....he is a European class fighter that has been marvellously managed/marketed. Whether he beats PM is doubtful, though my money is on PM points; but the fact is, he is down at LWW away from the likes of Cotto and Margarito because he knows both would murder him! For what it's worth, Ricky/Frank Warren rejected a fight with Cotto (via Bob Arum) when Cotto was at LWW also.
  17. The other night at Fir Park, dont know if anyone noticed, as the media certainly didn't go to town on it; but Boyd got one hell of a shedload of abuse from the well fans. It was to the same level as McCarthy got the other week there, and while the meedya went to town about the 'sectarian' abuse jhames got for turning his back on Scotland. Boyd got the same amount of abuse, but not one drop of ink was mentioned about it by the papers. My question is, why was McCarthy's incident referred to as 'sectarian' abuse, when Boyd got the same treatment no mention? The cynic in me would suggest that Boyd's incident doesn't fit the 'Anti Irish, sectarian based hatred' propaganda bullshit that has been peddled by the media for the last few years.
  18. There was no famine song at Fir Park. Only "you're in the wrong fu*!ing country," booing when he touched the ball; and general abuse for being a treacherous wee bassa when he got near the stands! Fact of the matter is, he is Scottish (as are 7/8ths of his family) and yet he chose to represent the ROI; and as such he deserves whatever abuse he gets! It's not sectarian abuse, it is purely because the wee w@nk chose to represent a country other than his own!
  19. Ross McCormack was given a free transfer to Motherwell 2 years ago (despite the Porto goal at 18/19). He is the same age as Laugherty who moved for 3.5 million! McCormarck plays in the same role as Kyle (left sided attacker) and has scored more goals than Lafferty in a 6th of the number games in the championship! McCormack also appears to have a better first touch, technique, pace & finishing prowess! The only thing I think Kyle has over Ross is height in my opinion! I think it is a disgrace (although under different management) that McCormack was freed, and a far inferior player of the same age was bought for 3.5 mill! That is mismanagement in the highest extreme! I'm not sure why this is not picked up on more regularly! The day McCormack was booted our was a big mistake by PLG, in my opinion one of his worst errors!
  20. No quotes from Mowbray suggesting that Mowbray wants a midfielder, nevermind Thommo! Stories must be slow these days......
  21. I find it quite sickening the disgust that 'nationalists' view the Union Flag! For some reason it is viewed as 'English' or 'h**.' I was at the Motherwell Nancy game in Nancy, and there was a girl with a UF draped around her, with the words 'New Stevenson Loyal' printed on it alongside a Motherwell badge!; and was sickened by the abuse that was shouted at her. Another woman (in her early 40's by the looks of things) started screaming obscene abuse at her (in a quite scummy accent) before spitting at the flag! Fecking shocked that a minority of Motherwell fans would behave in that manner. In saying that, the SS (Motherwell casuals) also adourned the Union Flag........however they received no such treatment. I view the Union Flag as ours, and am proud when I see it unfurled. I class myself as Scottish, which means that I am British, and proud! Disappointed that the minority of Well fans feel that it is a 'Rangers' thing, as the UF represents more than that! That's my tuppence.
  22. He can only develop as a footballer if he gets first team game time, which isn't looking likely at the moment! That wee McCarthy mhank looks a very decent prospect, and by playing first team football every week, he will develop quicker than Fleck! Fleck needs game time, whether that be going out on loan to Motherwell, etc; or to a team in the championship. I really dont want to see his potential subside!
  23. Hope he u-turns and pulls on the blue of our great country! Hopefully the taster of abuse he has received at grounds so far well help him understand he made an erroneous decision!
