If Amir Khan has a glass jaw, David Haye has a fiberglass one! Gonna go a bit off topic here lads......it's called being a supporter! A fan of a football team should always expect there to be bad times among the good times! It makes all winning all the sweeter! Gotta say that I'm dissappointed in RJJ taking this fight! In their respective primes Roy would have toyed with JC before obliterating him anytime he wanted! IMO RJJ is by some distance the best PfP fighter of my lifetime (29 y/o). Joe is doing this for the cash, and the false legacy! He will be able to say in 30 years time that he was better than RJJ - despite the fact that Roy was totally washed up by the time they fought - exactly the same as with 'Nard. JC will be claiming to have beaten the two greats, and in years to come less and less will be made of the fact they were finished by that time. With regard to Roy nowadays - he even looks old! Gone is the chiselled physique, and the skin is saggy. He still has power, and is still probably faster than JC; but he has been a pale imitation of 'Superman' since moving back down from heavyweight. His punch output per round is far too low to beat JC; added to the fact he likes to spend a lot of time resting on the ropes, it is unlikely the true great will win this one - joe throws about 90 slaps per round, compared to RJJ's 10-20 - it is a no brainer! Another thing that completely annoys me is that Joe (like Benn & Eubank) wanted nothing of RJJ when he was prime Super Middle and prime Light Heavy (during the 90's). I will be cheering on Roy, that is for sure!

So why aren't motherwell fans buying tickets then? Assuming that is the reason Villareal have dropped out? Got there before me. Surely 'Well fans would be buying tickets for such a 'legend'? Villareal have pulled out because they weren't getting paid a shed load of money for a memorial match! Apparantly the game was never signed up according to the spaniards. I think the issue is that the game was arranged for charity, and as such it is not normal for teams to be paid a fee for playing; and the charity set up by POD's family would not pay for their attendance. Incidentally, all monies made are handed to charity by POD's wife. The real issue in my view is the fact that VR wanted paid for this game - it's a feckin charity match FFS! Shows how far football clubs are getting from their roots, and purely about making money for themselves! BTW - I think you are placing too much emphasis on the number of well fans out there to buy tickets - when was the last time they even came close to filling the stadium??
