All i said was that Le Guen only stated that fergie undermined him but never disclosed what fergie did.

We got one large payment to start with and get annual payments for the next few years. Obviously this large payment made the deal sound great but in reality it was never going to give Rangers lots of extra cash. The cash received simply replaces what we could have earned if we'd run the retail side ourselves. However we no longer have to deal with any risk and can focus on other more important matters like footy!! Then if JJB make good profits Rangers get extra payments. I don't think we made a great deal of extra money out of the deal but i also don't think we lost any. People question why none of this large payment has not been spent on the team but the cash received has to spread over the course of the agreement. If not, then in future years we will be losing out in terms of the smallish annual payments we receive.

fair enough disagree with targeting Todd but give the Murray abuse a break. Murray doesn't pick and choose who we sign, the manager's do. But no doubt you'll come up with an example and use that as proof that he chooses all our players. <zzz>

My suggestion would have been that a player was having an affair with the wife of another player, and Barry refused to deal with it. PLG felt the captain should take responsibility as it was not PLG's place to deal with such an issue, and felt undermined when Barry refused to sort it and it was affecting trainng and on-pitch performances. And their relationship disintegrated from there, and when Murray refused to step in PLG had no alternative but to leave given he was not wanting to get involved with players' private lives. *phew* What a load of bollocks. I suggest we do what Rangers think is correct, SDM and no doubt walter will know the full story and will act accordingly. I just hope they tell us the full story for a change! Right i'm going to think up the most ridiculous rumour and phone up one of the footy phone-ins tomorrow. It seems that when a caller says they've heard something it does the round on these forums. People use these rumours to prove that their opinion is the correct one. RANGERS HAVE TO COME OUT AND CLEAR UP THIS MESS, otherwise Fergie and Boyd will forever have a stain against their characters. And these stains will always be dragged up when Rangers have a bad result or one of the players has a bad performance. One fed up Gers fans with all these "a contact said to me" stories. <pbag>
