  1. where did you hear that?? Could be 2 old firm league games in 10 days! And i'll be at both!
  2. Given the options for the poll i have decided not to vote. Had there been the "fantastic chairman for Rangers" option then i would have voted. But the poll is extremely biased with the most favourable option being "not the worst" - the options clearly show what the creator of the poll thinks. Pish poll tbh.
  3. Never really thought he did that well for us. Hope you're right though. But for me none if his performances stick in my mind. Whereas for the other players who have impressed me this season, i can mentions games etc. Hutton, Ferguson, Thomson, Cuellar, Hemdani, Cousin, Burke. But not Beasley????
  4. Agree completely Add me in agreeing to the above, Barry Fergusons a class footballer. and me remember after the hearts away match a few months back when he was on the bench, we had posts of "we can never drop fergie", we can never rest fergie. he makes rangers tick, even when hes not playing particulary well his presence is a boost for our team. IMO he deserves the 25k!! And add me to the list as well please. Great news!
  5. i'd be delighted if he stayed..... voted gutted by accident! Oops.
  6. Man Utds chief executive David Gill is always on the tv. He was on today talking about the Munich disaster. Peter Kenyon is always on the tv talking about Chelsea, plans for future etc Arsenal dont do much pr. Futhermore, all these clubs have been sucessful and are not in a transistional period. They also have ambition and are leading the club down the correct path David Murray is not the Chief Exec of Rangers. That would be Martin Bain. Maybe its up to Martin Bain to speak up more.
  7. Thats a classic example of using circumstance to fit in with an opinion. Does anybody (apart from SDM and Walter) know what happened with regard to the Alan Hutton deal. As far as i'm aware Walter said he couldn't knock it back.... so why then assume that SDM effectively told Walter that Hutton must be sold???? There is no evidence of that at all, just people wanting to believe that it happened as some people want to see the worst in him. For me it will be a sad sad day when SDM leaves Rangers.
  8. McCoist's testimonial was against Newcastle. He was injured though and was on crutches at the time.
  9. In which case he gets sent off for handling outside the area He touched the ball with his foot not his hand.... although still don't see it being succesful
  10. yep not impressed with him. Has done well a few times when he's come on as a sub and ran at teams. But to be honest he isn't a major loss to the team. On the other hand Cousin is a major loss, the goal against Gretna shows me what Cousin is all about. One striker up front at Celtic Park..... only player i'd want up there would be Cousin.
  11. you know what the press are like, they just love good soundbites. Scared?? Rubbish! Not quite on his game, probably.... just like the rest of the team really.
  12. If the fourth official go it wrong the management team had more than enough time to react and stop Hemdani getting off the pitch. Hemdani had to run from the penalty box so walter, ally etc should have realised a mistake had been made in time to stop it.
  13. yeah disappointing today. Its not always to do with the tactics though, sometimes its because the players aren't good enough or have the composure to find a pass. Like Broadfoot today, he just seemed to boot it as far as he could today. Days like today when you appreciate Hutton and even Whitaker.
  14. thought he did ok, not quite as exciting as when he first returned to the team but wouldn't start without him at the moment.
  15. i don't rate Adam whatsoever but Buffel and Gow are not his natural replacements. Perhaps Steven Davis can slot into midfield at the expense of Adam. As far as Gow & Buffel, they are more likely to be competing with Naismith and Burke for a starting slot imo
  16. commentator just said in 10 days Uefa Cup that week
  17. I'd never hate a current Rangers player. I do hate certain former Rangers players: Kenny Miller, Steven Pressley, Mark Brown for obvious reasons Mikel Arteta for using the excuse that he was homesick and within 6 months he was playing for a club 250 miles south of Glasgow, if he was honest and wanted to leave i'd have been disappointed but wouldn't hate him. The fact he appeared to lie really annoys me.
  18. Although i have to be honest and say i haven't seen Dailly play this season i'd still prefer Dailly over Broadfoot. So basically while i don't think its a great signing, he is potentially better than the other defensive cover we have if Cuellar, Weir and even Webster were injured.
  19. And that guy Tanner who came on SSN talking about how Hutton had outright rejected it etc probs ain't one of them. These reporters hear something and then make up the rest as they go along hoping to hit the nail on the head.... in my opinion!
  20. Smith has the final say on which players are sold not SDM. Smith wouldn't be back at Ibrox if SDM dictated who we sold.
  21. At the Motherwell game on Boxing Day they showed a picture of John Greig, Martin Bain and perhaps SDM laying a wreath. Before the game and at half time, it got a good round of applause. Hopefully they'll do something again.
  22. who is Hutton's agent?? If its Willie bloody MacKay i will go mental! Not heard anything to make me think it is him, just hope its not.
  23. I think you spoiled it all by yourself mate But don't give up, its never to late
