McCoist had informal talks with his agent a while ago. A deal of £10k a week plus £5k per game played was mentioned but Rangers haven't been back in touch. His agent wasn't too impressed with the offer given what Fowler has done in the game and the fact players like Scott Brown are earning so much more.

Souness was at hospitality at Ibrox on saturdayand he was adament that Craig Gordon was going to Rangers. I refused to believe it at the time cos i didn't think Rangers had the money and we had other more urgent areas in the team to look after......but he was adament!!

when i first heard that it was only till 2009 thats exactly what i thought as well. But you just don't know the reason, it could be that he feels he deserves a better contract and has signed for only 2 years so that he can prove he can play well on a consistent basis and get a better deal in 18/24 months. I'm glad he's staying, the next 2 years will tell us if he is a good player or not. If he is i hope he signs another extension!!

Hate to say it but hearing Clement spout off, makes me respect how Henrik Larssonhas behaved throughout his career. He joined a club (the wrong one) in a poor league but realised how much it meant to him and gave his all for a number of years. The fact is, Larsson is 10 times the player of Clement, Larsson is irreplacible but Rangers will find a replacement for Clements decent performances easily enough.

No, had never heard of him and his scoring record was atrocious. The fact that no-one else was interested in him gave it away that he was p*sh. Yeah his record wasn't impressive at all. Can't remember the players name, think he might have been a former Aberdeen player or somat, but he knew all about the Austrian league and said that while Sebo was a decent player in the Austrian league he was in no way Rangers class..... Even in the days when "rangers class" is nothing like it used to be, i have to agree with him. Altho i like the guy and he gives his all, loved the way he celebrated his goal against Aberdeen. I have lost the ounce of respect i had for Clement. He's saying all this rubbish before he has even left the club, he's clearly trying to make sure Smith sells him. Although he signed the contract and if we don't get at least ?2.2m-?2.5m then he can wait till the summer IMO. He says the Scottish league is so poor, yet i struggle to remember him getting many MOTM awards. If the league is so poor and he is so good then where are all his MOTM awards. He scored a perfectly legitimate goal against Celtic last season only for it to be chopped off for offside. Wrong decision but you never really heard much about it cos Rangers can accept things like that happens in football. .....but then Lennon penalty at Ibrox. A stonewaller but you didn't hear the end of it for over a week!! Reminded me of the penalty Soti got at Tynecastle. The Record had 9 pages on "that penalty". A few weeks later Pressley got fouled in the box against Celtic, stonewall penalty but not given.....hardly a word mentioned about it.

Bain doesn't pick and choose the players we go for!!!! The manager, assistant manager and scouts will identify players and then Bain will come in to negotiate with the club and player. Come on, you can't blame Bain for signing Sebo, PLG wanted him and instructed Bain to get him.

That seems excessive but if my work offered me Half a Million a year i wouldn't knock it back just because i didn't think i was worth it. You shouldn't judge the guy just cos he gets paid half a million by Rangers. Maybe you should question Mr Murray (altho i'm a big fan of Murray). Look at MON when he was at Celtic. Players like Momo Sylla were getting ridiculous wages.....but that wasn't Sylla's fault, it was MON's!! The fact is if Rangers were top of the league no-one would worry about the half a million a year. If through his negotiations on one transfer Bain managed to reduce the asking price from ?2.3m to ?1.8m then he's already repaid his wages. Maybe Murray thinks that having someone with the power to focus on negotiating, he can save Gers a bit of money. Bain's salary could be a good investment, however because the fans don't see the negotiations being conducted he may never be perceived that way.

He also defended Jodi Jones' killer, its his job. Do you also lose respect for prosecutors who get a guilty verdict only for it to be reversed 20 years later when its proved the person was innocent??? We need a legal system where everyone is innocent till proven guilty.

You should also have mentioned that the final should have been replayed with Rangers Against AC Milan. The replay that never was.........I think it should have been played.....I really do! Rangers ought to be given a second chance whenever possible. We should have insisted that the Big Cup win over Inter Milan in '67 be replayed as Inter clearly had a poor game plan. Who knows, in the years to come if the two-horse-race is too tight you can always get an imaginary penalty to keep your goal tally up. Rangers deserve a second chance.....it is the dignified way to avoid defeat! BFATS you fool? I'd agree that Nacho had a great game when he came on and Svensson really impressed me in the second half. Better performance from Adam but don't think i would have quite given him MOTM.

Exactly What PLG failed to do was get Hemdani to do this in his last few games in charge. According to Clyde 1 after the game, Ally could be seen encouraging Hemdani to do this even when he got caught in possession a couple of times. Clearly there was no need for Fergie to come back too often when Hemdani was doing this. To me this simply suggests to me that PLG was wrong!!!!

Well done to Bain then for making sure we got Webster on loan, if he had waited for official clearance then other teams may have been alerted to Webster's availability. In my opinion the criticism of Bain over this issue was not warranted. If folk don't like how much he gets paid or the job he's doing etc then thats a separate issue. When people have it in their mind that they don't like someone then they tend to jump on any small issue and try to use it to prove their point.

Negri was only with us for a season was he not? And he only contributed for half a season! As far as Mols is concerned, totally different type of player to Boydie, Ally and Negri. Mols had a lot of skill (pre-injury), similar to but certainly not as good as Larsson.
