Easier said than done to find a full back who never gets beaten, though. Would be more useful finding a centre back who wins when the crosses do come in or a keeper who comes and claims them
Tav had scored 8 in 95 league games before coming to us so not impossible that this lad’s attacking threat improves when he’s given more opportunities.
Teams are largely interested in players when they’re playing at their best and at that point we’re not interested in selling them. Our behaviour (with Kamara, Morelos, Kent, etc.) doesn’t match this player trading model we supposedly have
Like the sound of Sterling but it’s one of the few positions where we have an undroppable atm (whether you agree with the decision or not) so will be interested to see if he’s just seen as a backup.
Should start the rest of the season but we still need to bring someone better than McGregor in for next season. If McCrorie ends up beating them out then no problem but a lot of people wanted McLaughlin to be our number 1 a year ago and he’s shite
Haha. Badly phrased. Thought there might have been an explanation or a timeframe. Obviously put my deerstalker on and identified that it was in fact down
Some people just don’t like the players who aren’t sweating their bollocks off. Tillman (and Aribo before him) covered a lot of ground but because they’re style makes it look as if they’re coasting they’re easy targets.
Lawrence looked quality at the beginning of the season. Excited to see him back and hoping he can get back to that level. Really positive player and just what we need.
