  1. He’s the exact player we knew we were signing. Good in the box and scores goals but he’s not going to be running channels and dropping back to start attacks. Don’t know why people are using it against him.
  2. Agree with this. Was nice just to see someone who wanted to get forward. Once he got injured the only midfielder we have who wanted to get in the box was Arfield
  3. Would be interesting to know what they’re viewing as the positives Souness brings to the table atm
  4. McLaughlin would be a pointless re-signing. He’s not good enough and we know that b
  5. The positive is that his game isn’t built on physicality
  6. They have now because they’ve received a lot of money in transfer fees and had the premier league prize money. Don’t think they were spending that much until the last year or so were they? It’s largely been successful player trading?
  7. We’d actually be a very good situation for one of the analytics-minded people/groups like Brighton, Brentford, and AZ have. Possession-heavy, attacking style of play with very defined roles within it but without a huge budget.
  8. These were so frequent that they pretty much turned him from one of the most promising young keepers in football into a backup though. Hopefully we get more efficient in front of goal but just think we’re a team that needs to prioritise doing the basics at the position at the moment. I’d love Butland to prove me wrong. Family have Cheltenham season tickets so watched him 20+ times when he was on loan and genuinely thought he was going to be a superstar. Just hasn’t been able to sort those concentration mistakes.
  9. It should be. Gambling on the fact he’s cleared up those issues in a few years of not playing is a big risk
  10. Tell us your stats and we’ll decide if we should stick with Castore
  11. £40k a week for a guy we all acknowledge makes too many mistakes is mental
  12. Yet another one of those things that reminds you how fucking good Walter was
  13. You’ll get no more from me. I’ve been alerted that I’m a fucking idiot
  14. People say wild things on this forum. That’s my bad if I’ve been got.
  15. Come on, man. Phil Jones was good for a while but at no point was he the best defender in the world. Never won any personal accolades (player of the month, team of the season, anything UEFA related).
  16. As long as he’s nothing to do with the footballing side
  17. If we did pay £5 million for Tillman, I think it’s very unlikely that we wouldn’t make a profit on him.
  18. Was going to say I wouldn’t actually be against it then saw that he’s 25! Thought he was 21/22.
  19. That’s the dream. Would secure 4th place comfortably
  20. That Dipo Akinyemi who won the championship player of the season could cause some problems next season (either with Ayr if they go up or at a team like Motherwell). Obviously haven’t watched much of him but looks like a big powerful striker who can finish.
  21. Playing Wolfenstein: the new order on game pass. Few years old now and the combat is pretty generic but really enjoying the story
  22. If the scum had signed him for £5m it would be highlighted as one of the examples of them being so much better than us in the transfer market. He’s an attacking midfielder. He needs the ball in order to be successful then when he doesn’t get it he’s accused of being lazy or floating in and out of games
  23. Trying to picture Matondo doing this
