I don't buy into that for one minute. I think Bougherra was punished for going AWOL by not getting a start straight away on his return, then unfortunately picked up an injury. To say that he couldn't get his place back because he wasn't as good as a 17 yr old is total bollocks. At the end of the day though, it worked out well for us because we still won the SPL and also got a good fee for the young Wilson.. A win win situation all round...

Not to me it doesn't. He helped us win our 54th title and 3 in a row in case you forgot....

It actually would surprise me because despite the guys faults, talking crap occasionally and his AWOL moments, I really think he's better than this. Still don't believe it and won't believe it until it's official.

Don't know about pointless. Surely it's better to have a squad filler on relatively low wages who's a Rangers fan and can maybe do a job for us than a squad filler on relatively high wages who isn't a Rangers fan and can maybe do a job for us?

I don't see how we would be able to afford £2.5m for a striker this summer unless we sell a player, but if we sell a first team regular they'll need to be replaced so it would need to be a big money sale. We can't afford to reduce the quality of our squad, we need to improve it and a £2.5m striker from Millwall definitely shouldn't be a priority IMO. We've got Hemmings coming through who would probably burst a gut for us next season if given the chance. I still can't believe that Wolves signed Leigh Griffiths for £150k.

Ally knows he can expect that though. If we have a poor run he won't be surprised at all by getting some abuse because it's part and parcel of management. He knows what he's let himself in for and I'm expecting him to take it all in his stride and do us proud.

Not that bad a player tbh, but a few points - He lost his place in the Fulham team for becoming a bomb scare and scoring OGs. He prays on the pitch before every match. He's a clown, joker (not always a bad thing I know). He fears for his life because of death threats and he can't go back to Ghana (neither can his family). So, no thanks....
