  1. Nice choice of username and avatar you've got there sir.
  2. No worries. Even if Blackburn released him from his contract, I don't think he'd be coming here, but you never know.
  3. Good player, but if our wage bill is to be getting cut even more for next season I can't see how signing Diouf would be a good idea. If he thinks Rangers can afford to pay him over £20k per week he's living in cookoo land.
  4. No it isn't. He'll have at least another season to run of his contract come the summer.
  5. Still only 18. He's 19 in April. Here's an article from June 2008. The scoring stats at the bottom are from back then as well, so they're out of date. Kane hemmings Personal Information Kane Hemmings was born April 1992 and is son of ex footballer Tony Hemmings. He was bought up in Burton-On-Trent and was educated and William Hutson Junior School before moving on to De Ferrers Specialist Technology College. At a young age Kane was well known for his footballing talents and had sucessful trials at a range of Midlands clubs, including Derby and Birmingham. At aged 13 he moved from playing in the Burton and District Football League to a Midlands Football League with Tamworth Town, where he won top goal scorer award in the 2006-2007 season. After 3 very sucessful years with Tamworth he finally got has opportunity to play for the team he supported as a boy, Glasgow Rangers. He went up to Scotland and had a range of sucessful trials which tested all of his footballing talents and in the end, in June 2008 he signed a two year contract to play for the Scottish Giants. Finally he left his home town to move to Scotland and play for his dream club, after having taken his GCSE's. He loved his best mates Alex Brown and Charlie Bullock. Footballing Facts Kane started off playing football for a Burton Junior football league club called Belvadere Park at under 10s level, where he played on saturday mornings at shobnall fields. During this time belvadere were very sucessful winning the league three times in a row. When he was playing in the under 11s league he wanted more of a challenge so he moved up an age group to play for shobnall warriors aswell as playing for belvedere, this was how keen kane was. At this time he was also playing for William Hutson Junior School football team who at this point were very sucessful winning multiple cups. As h moved into senior school he went straight into the year 7 football team who won the league and cup double that year. Kane was a big factor in his year football team being very sucessful. When he moved into year 9 he moved to Tamworth town where he had 3 very sucessful seasons there including a cup win in May 2008. Throughout this year Kane has been on trial with Glasgow Rangers and this last month signed a 2 year contract with the Scottish Giants. Stats Appearences- 145 Goals- 73
  6. Walter gave Cole and Hutton chances in Europe. You'd think that giving a young striker who likes scoring and setting up goals a chance would be less risky than playing a young central midfielder or defender.
  7. I don't believe for one minute that there's no CCTV cameras in the tunnel. If someone said there's CCTV cameras in the tunnel, but they're broken, now that would be believable!
  8. I reckon we'll go 4-5-1 but wouldn't mind if we went 4-4-2 with something like this -
  9. Roads are ok, but the temperatures have been low this week going down to -10 and the pavements mostly still haven't been cleared since the last snowfall. The pavements around Firpark still haven't been cleared either, so they're covered in snow and ice. Will be passing Firpark again in a couple of hours, so I'll have another look. Temperature is set to drop to -7 or -8 on Saturday night with some snowfall forecast for throughout Sunday (Met office forecast). Whoever said there's a big thaw on Sunday must have better info than the MET office because their forecast for Motherwell on Sunday is zero degrees with snowfall. I really hope the game is on, but it won't surprise me at all if it's not.
  10. well i hope we can get a few players in before that. I hate the way we leave everything to the last minute. Get the players in asap and give them more time training with new teammates before the season starts. . Really disappointed with that comment. We could already have had a list of 'possible' targets drawn up. Maybe there actually is one though and Bain is just playing down the window and trying not to get our expectation levels souring. We don't have much of a budget after all, so selling a player or two could be the key to this window's progress. actually if u read the post Bain did not make the comment....... Yes he did -

  12. If I was him I'd rather play in Spain for a smaller club like Malaga, than play in Turkey for a big club like Galatasaray. The Turkish league is ranked something like 11th in Europe, while La Liga is ranked 2nd. The only concern would be that Malaga are potential relegation fodder.
  13. It's actually pretty damn good for the NOTW. Normally they don't print true stories.
  14. There's still a chance Boyd could decide to stay, but it's admittedly looking pretty slim!
  15. I don't understand why anyone is making out as if PLG has all of a sudden come out and started admitting failures/mistakes. He did an interview for BBC Radio Scotland, was asked certain questions and simply answered them.
  16. . It is pretty damn obvious though... A lobotomized monkey could figure out that Ellis doesn't have the money himself.
  17. Not a bad wee stadium they've got for a mob that finished 15th in La Liga btw! Almost 26,000 capacity. All the best Nacho. Hope you get plenty games over there & make sure you take the piss out of that Messi muppet!
  18. Well done Charlie! Anyone hear the players chanting 'Charliedinho, Charliedinho' just before they came back down onto the pitch with the trophy?? Well, I think it was the players...
  19. What a lot of shite. The Herald? ...mmmmmmmmmmm
  20. I'd have liked to hear the full interview with him on el chicko's 'Managing the Old Firm' special on Sportsound today, but missed it due to watching the Blackpool game. It was on between 16.00 & 17.00 but they don't have a listen again feature for it on the website.
  21. We should have bought shares with this money. (thoughts of an RST 'spokesperson')
