  1. It wasn't just any old party though! It was a pikey party in a caravan on a gypo park...
  2. Why should they not be there ? I'm not going to say who should be where. I'm just pointing out how different the response would be... Why wouldn't the response be different? It's not as if McGregor's played for the bheasts is it? And? And what? You were stating the obvious when saying that Miller would get a different response for having been there. I then stated the obvious by saying why that would be the case. Anyway, there's only a certain percentage of fans that can never forgive Miller for playing for them & it's probably not a majority percentage either.

  4. Why should they not be there ? Because Sheridan's a pikey?
  5. I know it's a physical gesture an' all that, but you don't need any physical proof or gesture to be in a Hall of Fame in the minds of The People!
  6. I can't help but wonder what sort of debt levels Douglas Park's main holding company has in comparison to it's assets. Obviously the Park family will have some personal wealth as well, but I can't for the life of me see how DP could be wealthy enough to underwrite the future of our club. I think if DP or anyone else with an interest actually had the finances to buy the club, they'd have done it already. It might also be worth considering that the future of the club could be even more uncertain than it is at the moment if it's bought by a cash-strapped consortium. Is DP a potential new owner? - I think not. Potential consortium leader? - Maybe, but why? Potential investor? - Sure, why not! :pierre:
  7. I'm only worried that the bastards don't turn up for their hammering.
  8. Does that make you a half Tally, half NI immigrant? Ah well, it could be worse!
  9. Just had a check at Rangers' fixture list and it will either be this midweek (though Martin Bain reckons this is unlikely) or the 6th or 7th of April, so available midweeks are a bit thin on the ground. I think we're also free the midweek in mid March, on say Wed 17th March, but that would be the midweek before we play the CIS Cup final. Beyond that I think we've got a free midweek between the game at Tynecastle and the Hamilton game at Ibrox, which would fall on Tues 30th March or Wed 31st March.
  10. Aye, but the groundsman was slipped a crisp new fifty quid note to make sure it was turned on low heat and stayed that way....
  11. They should be fined, but the money should be given out to the Bears that bought tickets & spent money traveling to Perth. A tenner a head would do the job & amount to approximately the normal fine amount.
  12. With a 12.30 or 12.45 kick-off, there should be a deadline for calling off the game. No way it should be getting called off this late. That's a total disgrace. Fans should be reimbursed their traveling expenses, buy the host club.
  13. Me No Panic Guv! No, I actually hadn't realized that the word liquidate could be used as meaning to 'pay off' or 'settle' a debt. Makes sense now.
  14. Right, that explains it then. Nothing to be concerned about if he was using the word in the sense of Muir being there to make sure the debt is paid off for Murray's benefit. Obviously the debt being paid off as quickly as possible would increase the value of Murray's shareholding to a potential buyer. Ok, so nothing to worry about... :uncertain:
  15. In the following article - http://sport.scotsman.com/sport/Rangers-progress-in-cup-.6082665.jp AJ says the following with regards to Donald Muir:- Now, I'm not going into meltdown over this because it may be a misquote or a mistake on AJ's part, but I'm slightly concerned that AJ, who chooses his words quite carefully, has referred to Muir as 'seeking to liquidate to Murray's advantage'. It's the use of the word 'liquidate' that concerns me. Am I reading into this too much or has AJ actually let it slip what's really on Muir's Agenda?
  16. Aye, playing Novo up front with Naismith on the wing makes no sense to me at all. Swap them round with Novo on the wing and Naismith up front if they're both on the park like last night.
  17. I hope you don't think that's what I was trying to do papa. Just trying to add to the discussion that not all of this reported 'profit' has necessarily been received and indeed, it may well be that a large chunk of it isn't received until the summer. Bluedell doesn't seem to think that's particularly significant though, which is cool..
  18. It just means that we will get it in the future. We have accounted for the profit part of it, but not the actual cash in our bank account. It will just mean that our debt will decrease when received. Right, thanks BD. So, is there no real significance? When we're talking about figures like £5m (just for example) then surely it's fair to say that we'd be better off already having that money to reduce our interest payments day to day now than it sitting in someone else's account making them money? Ok, we'll get it eventually, but our situation could be even better by having now surely?
