  1. Absolutely delighted, let's see what the next CL game brings!
  2. Remember my Dad coming home from the game absolutely devastated, C*ltc were not supposed to have a chance. Thankfully it was a few years before they won anything else!
  3. When he arrived he was the best keeper I had ever seen for the 'Gers......FACT. Only Goram surpassed him (some would argue Klos but had Woods not taken that infection which affected his balance I believe that there would not have been much between him and the Goalie).
  4. My My, Hey Hey (Out of the Blue) My my, hey hey Rock and roll is here to stay It's better to burn out Than to fade away My my, hey hey Out of the blue and into the black They give you this, but you pay for that And once you're gone, you can never come back When you're out of the blue and into the black The king is gone but he's not forgotten This is the story of a Johnny Rotten It's better to burn out than it is to rust The king is gone but he's not forgotten Hey hey, my my Rock and roll can never die There's more to the picture Than meets the eye Hey hey, my my
  5. Sounds more like a football fan to me. Watched the game locally but watched his team when he could!!!!!!!!!
  6. Abolute p*sh.......you are entitled to support who you want. You obviously come from a 'Gers family so it's even more understanable that you Follow Follow. If it came down to only supporting a team if you were born in the city/town in which they play then there would be many empty stadiums on a Saturday (ManU being a prime example). Your mates are winding you up or they are jealous, they just do not get WATP! Oh by the way I'm from Glasgow (Ibrox in fact)!
  7. Could you go a chicken supper, Colonel Boogie...................
  8. My good lady has had a season ticket in the Copland Rear for over 25 years. She knows the game, loves the'Gers and knows how to behave herself. A perfect Bluenose. Surely the days of questioning a female at a game are long past? I would not give this comment a second thought Foreverabluebell. You are part of the family and have every right to be so, just as I have or any other poster on here!
  9. Aye and after that, they'll find a cure for cancer, close all sectarian schools in Scotland and get Reid and Liewell to admit that C*lt*c were formed by a bunch of Irish Republican publicans for Roman Catholics only!
  10. If memory serves, he wasn't keen on that name! Tam Forsyth, He's called Jaws, He had Channon by the balls, na na na, na na, na na oh the memories!
  11. Jimmy Miller in a 5-1 victory against Clyde at Ibrox.
  12. There is a debate for some people - despite the 2 games played in 1872, the official founding was in 1873 according to the club website.... According to that marvellous tome 'The Gallant Pioneers', 1873 was used as it provided time to set up for the Jubilee Anniversary. The Wee Blue Book up until 1920 stated that the club was formed in 1872. No reference to the founding date in the next two issues. However the Wee Blue Book of 1923-24 uses 1873 as the founding date for the first time. So no debate for me, first game played in 1872.....OFFICIAL!!!!! ,
  13. 1872....OFFICIAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  14. Embra Evening News .....mate! http://edinburghnews.scotsman.com/to...ose.5481260.jp
