no jelavic, no naismith- i will be amazed if we can retain this title, just cant see it in all honesty. all very well saying no surrender but when you look at the 2 squads it does not look good on paper at all. even after last years title the coaching staff said they were really struggling and weren't sure if they could get the consistency required with such a small squad to retain the title and that squad had miller, jelavic, naismith, weiss, diouff, lafferty, beattie( i know, but still) and healey available to choose from including the january window. asking healey and lafferty alone to suddenly find goalscoring consistency (which neither has demonstrated bar lafferty over a couple of months) is just too much of a stretch for me. truly shocked we didnt nip in for sandaza even today, think that would have given everyone a bit of a lift, and given cause for more optimism.
