Adam consistently made 40-50 yard accurate passes. He showed good ball control and technique. It didn't matter what position he played, those qualities were there for people to see. Fleck, in my opinion, has not shown anything close to Adam's potential.

I have seen him play in a range of positions and he hasn't stood out in any. So what is his natural position? Playing just off the main striker?

He is an attacker with no touch or control. That's the problem.

He shouldn't be given any contract until he shows a genuine sign of potential. He has had double the amount of chances as Wylde, Hutton and cole put together and shown no signs of being good enough.

It does show that our players are not good enough and I would not make any apologies for that. We are too big a club to have places in the starting 11 for mates etc. That's why Weir should be dropped ASAP, club captain or not. Being ruthless breeds winners.

So I have been having a think about how to freshen up the Rangers team for the remainder of the season. 1) There have been a number of threads on here about needing 2 strikers, and I quite agree. 2) There have been discussions about 2 Centre Mids not being able to cope if the opposition have 3. 3) There have been hundreds of threads where we are crying out for genuine width to support our strikers. Of all the players to have a go at, he would not be on my list from tonight's performance. Tinted specs I presume.

Ness and Healy on for Lafferty and Edu. Davis needs a rocket up the bum. Weir needs to concentrate a bit more and stay goal side of the Sporting forwards. Stay positive and we are good for a 2-0 win

Charlie Adam showed that he could pass a ball 40-50 yards into feet. He didn't do well here because of fitness and being played out of position. Lafferty has yet to show ANY potential imo.
