4boysandabaw replied to TheMoonlighter's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
Has anyone done the do it yourself founders trail,I have, its brilliant and easy to do, you know where the sites are, go do it yourself. Also there is nothing to stop you booking a Stadium Tour for yourself as well at the end or the beginning. -
The Spirit of Ibrox, the big Red Book was a limited edition I think. You can see it in the Mitchell Library Archives Section. I know because Ive seen it.

This quote from Noodles proves he is an agent provocateur. How does he " a new poster" remember me posting ages ago. Poor show ££ "Four boys and a baw, he was a prolific poster on here and i remember him talking about finding the grave ages ago, he is mentioned in the VB article, where did he go? poster no more?" -

Question if you dont mind. Why didnt the founders committee, working along with the author of The Gallant Pioneers, purchase the lease to the plot immediately. I was told by someone from the Founders committee, when i asked about erecting a headstone, that it was complicated and there were laws regarding paupers graves, Yet Vanguard Bears, who did purchase the lease to the plot, told me that the Lincoln authorities made it very simple for them. (to purchase a lease) TBH mate, i didn't know about any previous dialogue between you and anyone from the founders committee although i take your word for it. I of course, cannot answer on behalf of any of the founders comm' but i would imagine that the headstone would have been part of the plan in the future. I do know that it took over two years dealing with Glasgow City Council regarding permission for the plaque at the Football Centre at Glasgow Green and that the organisation of that ceremony plus the trail in September last year took a bit of time. I also know that there has been a lot of ongoing work regarding the other founders at places such as Rosneath etc. The journey you made to Lincoln and also to Callendar were admirable and for that i doff my cap to you. None of the above, however alters the fact that the founders comm' and especially Gary Ralston spent many hours researching which resulted in the discovery of the remains of one of the gallant pioneers. Together, WATP Thank you for that Noodles. I still find it odd that The Founders Committee, on finding Williams location, just left it at that. Obviously it was not a complicated procedure to purchase the lease. So my question still remains. -

There are none so blind as those who will not see the elephant in the living room. This thread has confirmed what I have been thinking for a few weeks. Elvis has left the building.

On Wednesday night at the DU game when the MOTM was put on the big screen it said MOTM CHRIS Boyd. Was that just a mistake by someone or was it something else that wasnt a mistake. What do you think Was it a mistake. Call me paranoid but Its hard to think of a credible way such a mistake could be made.
