  1. We are desperate for two centre halves however not at that price I'm afraid.
  2. If its not the SPL's beef then who's paying Harper McLeod?
  3. Pretty sure the guy who does it is also a policeman.
  4. Was it Adi and Rudolph? They fell out hence why Rudolph? Started Puma. Check out Johan Cryff for Holland he's the only player wearing 2 stripes on his shirt instead of 3 because he was sponsored by Puma.
  5. Its Puma. Done deal. Well according to a lad on GN.
  6. Reading an atricle by DeGale today he mentioned Calzaghe avoiding Froch at the end of his career. Seeing as Joe is 40 now this would have to happened a few years back but in your opinion who wins? I think Calzaghe hands down. I don't think he got the credit he deserved from some quarters and even though undefeated.
  7. I'd like to see Broner v Burns now. I still think Broner would win but Burns would provide a much better test than Rees as he's far stronger.
  8. What were we paying Filipo Maniero in wages :-)
  9. Most folk assume Flo was our worst buy. Michael Ball was far worse.
  10. "once you have been down" Ok Declan.
  11. I can't disagree with you to be honest mate. And what you are saying is probably right. Me personally, and especially after today, I just fucking hate losing. I think my hate of losing would override any thought of progression which gives me the 'win at all costs' mentality.
  12. I hope the fucking players and management are watching it.
  13. What, a winning mentality? I'll take winning ugly or winning pretty I just want to win. Dropping the divisions I'd like to see us build some youth into the mix however I still want to win. Ive grew up watching Rangers win and it's all I want to see. Financial mis management got us into this mess. Not wanting to win at all costs. I'm not prepared to wait 5 years to get back to the SPL I'm afraid. The idea of a young Barca-esq side sounds great in theory but in reality it's not likely to ever happen in the lower trenches in Scotland IMO.
  14. Nup I can't buy it. There is a fine line with progressing and failure. Anything but getting out of the 3rd division is out and out failure for me and wholly unacceptable.
  15. You have to laugh about the scrutiny of Wallace in the Scotland squad. No mention of Hutton playing about 3 first team games in a year. No mention of Webster being pish and slow as fuck. No mention of nae neck playing a handful of games all season. No mention of Kenny Miller playing in the American works league. Even with the Nationeal team it's STILL all about the Rangers eh.
  16. Better position for the future without a doubt. I still maintain however that a young side would not win this league in the first season.
  17. Exactly. And could we be sure that Ally would have them playing great football anyway? I think the blend of youth and experience is about right for what we have, it's the quality that's missing.
