  1. Yes. He knows the words as well.......
  2. I've met him a few times in the Members Lounge at Ibrox and he loves The Gers.
  3. He's ready now and a much better option at Right Back than the likes of Foster and we gave him a crack.
  4. Very good up and coming young player that's more than capable of doing a job for us. Unfortunately, the usual suspects on here would be giving Ally a right time of it if young Hateley suffered a drop in form..... "Yae only signed um cos eez yer pals boye get yersel tae fuck McCoist" You know who you are...... If I had to sign one Motherwell player I'd sign Hateley every day of the week that ends in a "Y" ahead of Murphy.
  5. If our recent transfer dealings are anything to go by we'll make an offer for Nicklas Bendtner and end up with Kevin Kyle.
  6. We've been linked with some players throughout the window that would have made a huge difference. Vaughan, Goodwillie, Juhasz, Verhoek, Cuellar and Miller are of the standard required, though I appreciate some never wanted to come here, but these are the types we should be aiming for. I like Lee Wallace a lot but it's not a position we desperately needed someone for as Papac does a great job there and I don't understand why that money never went towards a partner for Jelavic, a midfield powerhouse or a Winger capable of taking a man on and hitting the by-line. I think at best we'll now see one or two loan signings coming in as I get the feeling Whyte won't be spending the money required to take us forward. Our obsession with getting numbers in is costing us and the lack of quality has to be addressed quickly. Bad times...
  7. From what I've seen so far the answer has to be "Yes" We've lost better players than some of those weve brought in if you compare them on a like for like basis. We targeted Juhasz to replace Boogie and ended up with Bocanegra - just one example but I'm sure you get the point. We're going back the way and unless Whyte starts spending some serious cash then we're in for a long season of torture with Ally being made a convenient scapegoat for our dithering Chairman. The players brought in so far are not of the level required to take us forward and that has to change.
  8. McGregor - 5 Poor at the first goal. Broadfoot - 6 Didn't do much wrong and played a big part in our goal. Goian - 5 Failed to command. Bocanegra - 5 Disappointing Wallace - 3 Been a good signing but had a Mare tonight. Naismith - 5 Struggled to make an impact. Davis - 5 Poor by his standards. Edu - 5 Not his worst performance. McCulloch - 3 Slower than a Tax rebate. Ortiz - 5 Great pass to Broadfoot then finished the move with a goal. Poor apart from that. Jelavic - 5 Struggled. Had a great chance to make it 2 and shot wide. Lafferty - 4 Off the pace due to lack of match fitness
  9. With the exception of Jelavic I can't think of anyone that comes close, though I'm sure Celtic fans would put up a decent case for Kayal and Izzaguire. Having to play beside the 2 fannies must be torture for him - it's torture for me just watching them.
  10. Said exactly the same thing in another thread. Good post.
  11. You're a clown. One thing McCoist doesn't lack, is bottle.
  12. What favours are you on about Mongo? We won the league because we were the best team and thoroughly deserved it. You're worse than a Tim.
  13. Sometimes I feel you're more to be pitied, I really do. I've often wondered if you're playing with the full deck. You're a pathetic little arsehole that can't wait to hit the forum the minute there's a bad result for you to whine about. Even now, you can't resist a cheap shot at Walter, well, he sorted you and your kind right out, didn't he? The Malmo game, don't make me laugh, you've never been to a game in your life. You're just a wee dick.
  14. Spot on. He absolutely slaughtered Walter Smith last season, all the more ironic when you see his user name. Thankfully, Walter rammed the words right down his scrawny little fucking throat. He now has Ally firmly in his sights and will be wanking himself silly after every defeat from here on in He's the worst Rangers "supporter" I've ever known.
  15. A Tradesman's only as good as the tools he has to work with. Whyte has failed to deliver the players Ally really wanted.
  16. So if you don't criticise McCoist you're a coward and a shitebag?????? You canny wait to get in about him just like you did with Walter ya fuckin wee prick! I swear you love these results, bet you were pullin the heid aff it when they scored in injury time, gave you a bit of ammo to attack our Manager. You are the worst Rangers fan I've ever known and if I sat next to you at Ibrox I'd punch your cunt in!
  17. Still our best player and still the best midfielder in Scotland by a distance. Didn't have a good game tonight by his own standards but it must be difficult carrying fannies like Edu and McCulloch week in week out. There was a time when he had guys like Mendes, Ferguson, Thomson and Adam in the engine room with him to carry the load, now who does he have? He is the beating heart of our team and I dread to think the state our midfield would be in without him. Is he Captain material? Only time will tell, but, for me, he's the obvious choice to replace Weir.
  18. His bluff has just been called and even those that have stood by him must be having second thoughts. The Goodwillie shambles summed him up for me and any trust I had in him has long gone. Early indications would suggest he's not the man for Rangers. He still has time to prove me wrong but somehow I don't think he will. He's a Con-Man.
  19. I think I'm also correct in saying that's the first game we've lost which we were leading at half time since Parma back in 98?????? McCulloch shouldn't play for Rangers again - HE'S FINISHED!!! And it's a crime that despite all the transfer activity of late that he still manages to make the starting 11 along with other dumplings like Edu and Broadfoot - these guys are not Rangers class. Opposing teams know that if they can snuff out Davis, Naismith and Jelavic we're nothing, completely toothless, and Maribor like Malmo before them did their homework and cancelled them out. This result and the one against Malmo are a direct result of our completely amateurish dealings in the transfer window and tonight we're left to reflect on what might have been been had we pushed the boat out for Miller, Goodwillie, Juhasz and a winger in the mould of Verhoek or Estigarribia. When you pay peanuts you get monkeys, and we've got quite a few. Almost every player the supporters wanted in this window we never got and tonight it all came home to roost. Whyte MUST act now and get the cheque book out and bring in a couple of players capable of improving the team, not just guys to make up the numbers.
  20. Our ineptitude in the transfer market came back to bite us once again. McCulloch should be nowhere near the first team by now. Lafferty is totally unfit and we had to go into this tie with a central pairing that met for the first time just hours before the game, We better start hoping that Bedoya and MacKay have something to offer in terms of creativity from mid to front because quite frankly we don't have any. We're the whipping boys of European football, a complete joke outfit, and tonight's probably as bad as I've ever felt about Rangers.
  21. Haven't seen enough of the guy to pass judgement but he seems to have a decent enough pedigree. I wish him all the best. Welcome to Rangers Big Man.....
  22. Sorry pal, but I'm not having that. Infact I'd go as far as to say Celtic would eat that team alive! Goian and Bartley as a defensive pairing doesn't fill me with a great deal of confidence and Wallace is a Left Back - not a midfielder. Lafferty still has a lot to prove despite a great run of form towards the end of last season, but, for me, he's not the answer beside Jelavic. And the key word in my post was "Squad" but if that's the best 11 we can come up with we're in bigger trouble than I thought.
