Time to stop buying 2nd rate players from down south or who have played in England. McLaughlin, Davies, Goldson, Sterling, Tavernier, Dowell, Lawrence, Lundstram, Cantwell, Matondo, Roofe, Sima, Silva 13 players who are all not good enough. Only exceptions to the rule have been Sima in the goals he scored and Butland the only pass marks from 14 players from that market.

In no particular order would get rid of the following.
Goldson-Shites the bed every game hes up against a physical striker
Barisic- Has shit the bed since that old firm he ducked the ball for abadas goal.
Souttar- just not good enough
Lundstram- had 2 purple patches his entire Rangers career rest been bang average.
Davies- weak as fuck and injury prone
Jack- injury prone and past it
Roofe- made of chocolate
Dowell- injury prone and bang average when he's been fit
Dessers- Just not good enough never will be
Matondo- another injury prone player who won't make it with us
Raskin- if can't get a start in that midfield will never make it with us never mind play for Chelsea.
Cantwell- A gamble that's just not worked has talent but lacks the desire to be a top player.
Lammers- hopefully capitalise on his purple patch in the eredivisie as he won't make it with us.
Could probably add another 6 or 7 from that squad, if Tav didn't have the attacking qualities he would be added to the list he needs pushed up the park as we all know he can't defend worth a fuck.

Wright can’t start the second half, he just can’t.
Honestly would have taken him off after 10 minutes he's just offered nothing to the team.

How are the fans accepting mediocrity?
Everyone knows where we are atm with these players, anyone that expected us to go there yesterday and run over them with Dessers up front, no decent lb, a young fella on the wing and a midfield put together because of injuries quite obviously has their head up their arse
Daft as fuck thread
I'm in agreement mate, as apart from there first choice centre half and hatate (who was on the bench) they were at full strength yesterday, we were missing, Raskin, Barisic, Jack and Danilo, chuck in Lawrence and roofe as well half the squad named doesn't make the bench for us.

We were 7 behind I'm sure.
Now we're 8 behind with 2 games in hand.
So no, but maybe aye 😂
Since Clement took over we have 28 points from 11 league games and Rodgers has 29 points from 13 games. Sky sports news posted it yesterday before the game we had 28 points from 10 league games and the unwashed had 26 points from 12. Makes winning the 2 games in hand so important post winter break.

We keep playing the same tactics with the same players and hope for a different result, not worked since last year's semi final not gonna happen with this squad. This season can't end soon enough. It's been said a few times this season but if Kent doesn't play for us again don't think anyone could have any complaints.

With the likelihood of some of the names on the list we'd be as well adding Thomas Tuchel.

Coward. Jogging to the boy who set up to have a dig at their first goal and then turned his back on it
Him and Lundstram both should have been hooked at half time for there part in St Johnstone's first goal. Both too lazy to engage the opposition and Kent turns his back on it like a shitebag.

A
Steven Gerrard was sacked by villa yesterday yet gio has been to A Europa League final.
Majority of Rangers fans would get rid of Van Bronckhost right now. Yet would let Gerrard carry on regardless In the same situation, Rangers teams for me have always been about winning.

was about to suggest Frank deBoer .. didn't quite realize just how poor his managerial career has been. Multiple stories of players complaining of arrogance and refusal to change style. Must be a dutch thing.
Frank De Boer was horrific as a manager one of the last people we want as a manager

Boris Johnson and Gerrard being the manager this time last year would have been a nonsense 1 out of 2 ain't bad now lol

Knowing our Board they'd probably try and approach Billy Reid as he's been Chelsea assistant manager for 2 minutes.

Rest in Peace mam a wonderful servant to our great nation you will be sadly missed and we will never see your like again. To have served us with such honour and dignity during some of this countries most difficult periods shows what a wonderful person you were.

Battered 4:0 two away games in a row.
Once by the enemy, who many will now believe are nailed on to win the league again.
The other by a team near certs to win our CL group.
Then other results came in...Liverpool battered by a near identical score in Naples..in fact Naples missed a penalty whcih would have made it a clear 4 goal defeat. The Frankfurt stunned 3:0 at home. The only other Finalist from the end of last season won a hard fought match against our conquerors.
Did I not read that Ajax were going to treat us with maximum respect in their pre match briefings? They certainly learned the lesson of their great Dutch rivals, PSV, whom we very recently stunned, in Holland, and probably woke the fuck out of teams who would otherwise have underestimated us to their massive cost. As European finalists, we are also a big scalp right now. Everyone wants a piece of us. And they have realised that we can upset teams, no matter who they are or where they are.
So that wasn't just a standard beating from a top team with huge European pedigree, there was also a massive respect paid to us that they brought their A game. And some.
And Saturday's game reflects the same sentiment...they knew they had to up their game, and they did exactly that.
The hysterical response to both hammering defeats is all very predictable, but that's football. We are not out of either competition despite what both teams did, by the same margin, and both still have to face us in the return fixture at our place. Where I am sure our fans will be glad to let them know who's fucking boss/
Gio has to get the confidence back off the floor. But i know that if Liverpool can let 4 in, it can happen to anyone. Gio has to get them up to speed, get them right back on their game and we will be back in contention.
They are no easy games, but why should there be? If we were in a top league, we would be up against top teams week in week out, with no gaps to take stock and reboot. That is what we wanted by getting into the Champions League.
About 20 years ago we lost 6:2 to Them. The next time they came to Ibrox we fucked them 5:1.
Step back, get a bit of perspective. After a dismal week, things will get better.
In fact, if I was Gio, my advice to the team would be this. Speed the fuck up. Chase everything. Give the other side no time. Up the tempo. Harrass. Let's see how teams cope if we learn the lessons just handed out to us.
I do admire your optimism but if we had been turned over by the unwashed and Ajax. Whilst putting a bit of effort in and actually looking like scoring against either side a would agree with you. When the team don't do the basics of trying to close space down and tracking back then majority of Rangers fans are right to panic and ask WTF is happening.
Start of this season for some reason barring USG at Ibrox and PSV away our players seem to think turning up is all they need to do. We didn't get to a Europa League final just by turning up we fought tooth and nail against some far superior opposition to get there. So as supporters we expect the bear minimum of at least trying to make it difficult for the opposition even if they are better than us.

The mentality of these signings and where we are signing them from is hand in hand for me, that list of players there is not a winner amongst them biggest honour you could say they have challenged for before joining us is the English Championship or play off final and it's pretty much the rule that you're never going to win every game and defeats aren't a big deal. When we know the mentality needed to play and succeed at Rangers that one defeat domestically is a disaster no matter when it occurs.
As many have said a refresh is needed starting with the captain he either needs punted or stripped of the captaincy and someone with the balls and determination to push this team over the line when the going gets tough put in his place.
