  1. Yes they did - a politician of Ireland who is connected to the club, instigated an article in a local paper and this was backed by the club when Uefa became involved. This was well documented back in the early days of the mince.
  2. They instigated the media furore (and UEFA) over our fans singing certain songs.
  3. Diouf had several coins thrown at him - I spotted a couple land before he noticed one and then looked to the linesman, when a further few coins landed and the linesman spoke into his mic. Absolute disgrace
  4. That may be so but is it not about time the voices came from Ibrox and not Celtic Park. How many times do Celtic ensure their voice is relayed through the media when we do something wrong? Let's show them for who they are.
  5. Sometimes I wonder if the club have any balls? If this had happened to a Celtic player, the war mongerer would have called a press conference after the game and declared war with Iran or Govan - he does not care.
  6. Atleast he tries to pass the ball FORWARD, McCulloch must get brownie points for passing to Boughie and Weir, as he does it all the fecking time
  7. McGregor 8 Whittaker 6 Bougherra 7 Weir 6 Papac 6 Davis 5 Edu 5 Ness 7 Diouf 8 Naismith 6 Jelavic 7
  8. Edu is far better than McCulloch and even he was made to look shite today. As said earlier, Lee would have been booked early doors and held back the rest of the game.
  9. Aye, Walter should be ashamed for allowing the next manager of Rangers FC to take charge of the Scottish Cup ties! Any reason to berate Walter Smith eh?
  10. Diouf was tiring at the end and I agree with that change but Lafferty for Jelavic was wrong. I would have stuck Healy up there with him and removed Davis, who was poor today
  11. These guys are not entitled to their opinion - no? Rangers took the advantage early doors yet were still ripped apart with a 67/33% of possession in favour of Celtic - both halves. That was at Ibrox, in front of Rangers fans but did nothing but infuriate Rangers fans in the end. Celtic were clearly happy with the draw because they knew we let them off the hook today. We should have buried them after the first goal and certainly after the penalty, yet we sat back and admired their ball work.
  12. 'Your lot'? You have real problem about anyone that challenges the majority. By saying this, I sense you still claim I am a Celtic supporter or am in some way connected to Ireland, but I personally do not give a hoot what you think. My grandfather was a proud Prod and Rangers fan - I took the Rangers allegiance from him but did not care for the faith as I can make my own mind up about how to live my life. Why do Catholics need an old man sat in a big house paid for by them, to tell them how they can or cannot do things in life? Why do Muslims accept that whilst everyone else can eat what they like, they must eat meat that is halal etc? Why can't they just make decisions for themselves? That said, you are making this a personal issue and I hope the the mods take note. My son does not cry due to the songs, he just accepts some people use hatred as a vent.
  13. I never said they were better than us, they are far worse but I don't have to sit with them every other Saturday with my son!
  14. Ironically, your name sake is the reason! Walter Smith may be a legend and one I rate highly but he has never been in favour of bleeding youth. The management around him seem to thin that Jordan is good enough to continue to offer contracts but Walter seems to think that loaning an Arsenal loanee is better than bleeding his own. Goodbye to Walter in June and we will hopefully see youth being given a chance - Advocaat esk.
  15. When I say 'commander', I mean he takes the defence by the balls and guides them, along with giving the midfield pelters if they allow a dangerous attack to form. Amo or Cuellar were not in that mould - great defenders as they were, they did not take control of the back.
  16. Errr, the Famine Song for one. Irish loving they may be but reminding them of those who died due to a famine is absolutely disgusting.
  17. Every game is the same for me - we leave around 85 minutes due to our return journey being a pain. 4-0 at half-time makes no difference as the Gers can always hit Killie for six
  18. Maybe if the Rangers had songs that were not rekindling historical battles or hatred of a certain religion, more fans would join in? I can't be arsed with the bigotry etc., and I am sure many bears are with me on that one, hence the songs are not amplified around the ground. Some people on here will yet again claim I am not a Rangers fan for saying this but I am using my voice to give my opinion on why 30+% of fans do not sing at Ibrox. You only have to listen to the full belt at 'Simply the Best' to understand what kind of atmosphere we could make if the songs were not glorifying death.
  19. McMillan is currently on loan at Wrexham but has the potential to be a bloody good defender and one that commands the box. The last commander we had was Richard Gough and Jordan reminded me of him a few years ago when I seen him play Falkirk reserves, in Linlithgow.
  20. I do not go to the games as I decided to wait until my bairn was old enough to join me for my first OF game, so my ST option is not taken up. I still get the stomach wrenching and fear of defeat but love getting one over them. If we lose, I am un'bear'able to live with for the rest of the day - according to the missus
  21. Last I heard, he was at Queens. Shinnie, Ness, McMillan, Hutton and Fleck should be the future of the bears
  22. I can certainly sense a pussy in this thread, so you must be right
  23. Some people just get a hard on by trying to guess the World's news - others just get a hard on by using a strap on
